Disappointing cards

What is your most disappointing card of the year? Frank Thomas is mine. I hit 190 in 121 at bats.

Mine has to be the HOF Joe Mauer and Ken Griffey Jr

That 95 Tony Gwynn card from his program. Even at Costco Field, he was a lazy fly ball out machine!!

Literally the worst card above 90 I've ever used.
And to think it was all for a 99 Gwynn.
At this stage of the game if a 99 Gwynn is on your main squad (or really any squad), you either:
A. Just started Season 2 (and if this is the case I would complete every other program before Gwynn)
B. Are a huge Gwynn/Padres fan (so maybe 1% of the player base?)
To sum up, you had to use a horrifically terrible card to get a very mediocre one.
THIS was the worst program by far. I hear a lot of people complaining about the Moments of Glory program but at least it has decent/very good rewards.

the TA S2 C3 Cal Ripken...Cannot hit for s#it with that card, which is a shame because he was the very first TAC3 card I picked because of it's all-aroundness

Vlad Jr and Elly De La Cruz. Literally only hit pop ups and strike out with both.

I haven’t got a boss pack yet, but does this Griffey Jr. card play different than his 99 since the last 5 years? I just think he has the best swing in the game, as well as he being my favorite card to use; so, I am genuinely curious to why you find this year’s disappointing. I don’t know if I will get to have the opportunity to use him myself.

@dbub_PSN I definitely fit in to the B category, but I’ve been using the double Padres captain boost to make him usable. I keep asking for this kind of card earlier in the year when it would actually be usable, but it never happens. If I ever make an attempt at World Series, won’t be in there, unfortunately.

LOL - I always am excited to see his 99, and then... oofff. I think I struggle with guys that stand close to the plate. Or... I'm terrible in general.

I agree that every card plays different for everyone. I was only asking if this Griffey Jr. hits differently than any of his other top cards in previous games; or, than other of his cards in this game. Sorry for the confusion.

Josh Gibson. The bat sound has totally ruined the card for me. Cool idea but poorly executed. The more I use his cards in moments I get more frustrated. Hopefully next year they will do away with it but who knows.

Anyone who isn’t a huge Gwynn fan and is old enough to have watched him play should not consider themself a baseball fan.
I get that the card isn’t as great as some although 125/125 contact, 125 clutch 95/99 speed and steal and Diamond defense isn’t exactly a bad card.
