I'm wondering if degrom will have a chance at the hall of fame like sandy Koufax did he had one of the best peaks ever for a pitcher but he was not forced to retire so will he be a hall of famer

very doubtful, he just doesn't have the numbers, even if he comes back and puts up the next 3 seasons like 18 or 19, it's still not enough numbers like they look for, it would be only 13 seasons at that point and he'd be far from the milestones that count a lot,
it's not a good comparison to Koufax either, Koufax did things that no other pitcher had done,had the single season strikeout record and the most no hitter record(since surpassed by Nolan, and still has the lefty K record)
led the league in a lot of categories a lot of times.
Degrom had a great peak, but wasn't long enough,and he lost part of that peak to IL that's what is gonna hurt his chances the most. -
I can understand about the milestones, but some could still want him in the hall for being a big name for a while. Will he get the votes? I don't know. Probably could be one of the players that just misses out.
