SDS made a post on X asking who people thought would be the lightning player.
At first glance I am seeing and overwhelming number of people saying Jazz and Bobby Witt Jr.
First, Jazz has had a very good couple of days in NY but for the month of July he is batting 230
Next, Witt Jr has already won a Lightning player award this year and he just got a 99 two weeks ago so he won't get it.
People Mention Vlad Jr which is an option. I am not sure if his all-star card hurts his chances.
I think it may be Brent Rooker. He only has a live series silver card. Since June 23rd he is tied with Vlad jr for most HRs. 4th overall in Offensive War. 8th in batting average. Tied for second in RBIs. 3rd in slugging %

I mean SDS and the those playing the game seem to love him but most of his numbers don't seem to measure up since June 23rd (just the cutoff date I chose). Plus he has already had two S2 cards at 92 and 97.

I would say it's either Rooker or Butler, either way it's an Athletic. Would sort of rather Butler since he is a Lefty. Could also see Cease getting it as well but they don't typically give it to pitchers.

@Dolenz_PSN Turner also has 2 good season 2 cards and a diamond live series already.

Rooker, Devers, Suarez, Guerrero, Doyle make the most sense for hitters.

Dylan Cease would make sense. He’s been great, but he could also get a no hitter card.

Good point, didn't see he got that card since I don't buy many cards.

When was the last time we got a lightning pitcher?
They probably know there is not as much engagement for pitchers as there are hitters.

I'm guessing Eovaldi or Ohtani. I have a good memory, but I can't solve this one!
