I have been playing the show since 2008. I have every game every copy PS3 through PS5. I downloaded the free trial yesterday for PS5. I played the showcase in road to the show. The commentary and the game now just almost seems lackluster. I'm really into the diamond dynasty online rank game seasons. That's what really intrigues me getting the programs done for all the cards burning the higher cheer cards into the goat cards. That is really the best grind I like now it just seems like the audio was broken. The commentary is very boring... Kind of wish they could update commentary with players of the week from the miners. They could update guys from MLB as guests commentators like an NBA 2K there's a lot more. I think they could push into this scheme than what's being done right now. The graphics are amazing. I think it's the AI that really needs the overhaul at least in my opinion playing and also on a franchise road to the show is still good in content with me. My being thing is franchise mode

@jake93436_PSN Road to the show and franchise are dead modes as far as I’m concerned. They both get little to no attention for several years no and have no tie into diamond dynasty, so no reason to play those dull unchanged modes. That’s coming from someone who started on franchise and loved RTTS when that came out.

That's ridiculous! There are a large number of people who play this game exclusively in RTTS and Franchise. I am one of them. To say these two modes are dead is so over-the-top extreme as to ruin the legitimacy of any other points you wanted to make.

Look, in reciprocity, while I don't play Diamond Dynasty, I would never say the mode is dead.

Finally, MLB 24 gave a lot of new elements to RTTS and Franchise this release, including fixing a number of issues present up to MLB 23.

I will criticize SDS when they harm their own game, which they recently did with ruining the numbers and last names on custom uniforms in Franchise mode. But, criticism in totality lacks perspective and opens you up to accusations that you are merely trolling.

    Well, are you?

@PriorFir4383355_XBL I’m not suggesting no one plays them. I said they are dead modes AS FAR AS IM CONCERNED because they are relatively unchanged for several years now and not fun. In my opinion, RTTS is less fun this year than it was several years ago when you could control every attribute point. I liked the tie into DD. They’ve gone backwards on that. I used to love those modes. No, I’m not trolling. They need a lot more attention.

I agree with that the RTTS and franchise are dead, I used to always play those 2 way back when they made the game for PS3 but haven't touched those modes since because they do nothing to excite me to play them

Totally not true! The Ohtani rule was properly implemented in MLB 24, and this was the first time it had been properly coded in the franchise. MLB 23 never did get it correct. There were other significant improvements made in RTTS and Franchise. In Franchise, we got new tools to evaluate talent. In both modes, SDS added a new tab to the baseball cards that list the career awards earned.

There are at least a dozen significant improvements made in MLB 24 in RTTS and Franchise.

@PriorFir4383355_XBL We have a much different definition of the word significant.

I am curious how making a post of my opinion is considered falling. If you look at the game says about 21 franchise mode really is pretty much unchanged. There's really not much anything beside year to year beside roster update. That really changes the mode. Okay? Oh Tony ule that hasn't been fixed until the last year but still oh Tony has been in the game MLB level for at least 5 or 6 years professionally. So why did it take them so long to fix that one issue with the game itself?

Road to the show is still the same from 24 to even 21 or even prior in 20 you still create your player. You still play the showcase event from before. In this current year you still play three or four games. They do not do it in 23 but now it's when he fully did it where you can also play as a girl. But still it's the same showcase event from years ago where you would have the pregame BP hitting you do the fielding and then you play three games, get evaluated and get drafted. That's really not changed at all..

I play online diamond dynasty just because it's a better mix of value for the game. You can have a team full of 99 players or you could run a team of All-Stars or MVPs different cards for different players. You get so much more diversity in the game itself than just playing a franchise
