Congratulations Paul Goldschmidt

He is not the player he once was but tonight he hit a 10th inning Home Run to reach 2000 career hits in style. Becoming just the 5th active player with that total.
Shoot since his live card is a bronze I could even see them giving him a Topps Now card for it. Although I hope they don't and give us a 99 overall MVP version of him later on.
He most likely will see a supercharge Monday.

I know the glory is 3000, but 2k is not a small number and a great accomplishment too

They need to give Burleson or Lynn (2000 Ks) a Topps Now, for some reason they aren't giving the Cards any season awards or barely any Topps now without adding a price on them. Pages was the only Topps now they could get without a price in S1

Yeah, when you consider that there are only 5 guys that are still active that have hit that mark.
Freddie Freeman - 2,223
Jose Altuve - 2,174
Joey Votto - 2,135
Andrew McCutchen - 2,123
Paul Goldschmidt - 2,000After Goldschmidt will be Machado, probably next season if he stays healthy. He needs 166 more hits. Then comes Arenado who needs 237 more hits so probably 2026 for him.
