SDS had only four things to do that would have made this the best MLB game of all time.

    Fix the HR bug
    Make the fielders lock on
    Boost pitch accuracy
DO NOT touch day one hitting

Somehow, none of those were accomplished.

I have no experience in making a video game. But for the people who made this, it’s shocks me that the glaring issues have not been fixed.

    Agree on the first three

However, day one hitting wasn't perfect, it was to easy (and not just on veteran, just overall). If you looked a pitch funny, it left the ballpark. People have already been complaining the hitting RIGHT NOW is home run or bust, well those complaints would be even louder if day one hitting was around.

I don’t think it was home run or bust. Don’t get me wrong, it was a ton of HR. But that was because we were actually getting rewarded for the first time in years. It just seemed weird that hitting worked

Agreed that day one hitting wasn't perfect. Seemed to me the average score in my early games was probably 12-10, with 5-7 homers per game.

This year's game has been messed up from the start. It's only the ways it's been messed up that have been updated a couple of times.
