Drafted players and their rankings

I have been playing franchise for many years. It never really took the draft serious until last year's game. I don't have this current Year's edition. I only have last year's but still the draft picks. Obviously don't come into effect and franchise until the following season. You draft and sign them. With that being said, it just seems like they put a lot of emphasis into drafting good prospects. Then when spring training comes or the following season, they're mediocre 60 overall rated guys, nothing spectacular. And then you have these Joe randoms that are your minorly key prospects, but the draftees are just average Joe's almost
