New Rickwood Field Event rewards

I assume it’s because this is only the second event of Season 2. Giving people No Sell Season One cards wouldn’t go over well.

I will, for the first time ever, give events a go but I am not wasting all my play time chasing 10 wins. I guess it is time to test my connection and skill (or lack thereof).

@Dolenz64_XBL I'm guessing you have both Cardinals captains? Run that Cardinals theme team!
I'm running the Giants theme team in the event, as it's a great reason to use it
Matchmaking has been fine, It seems like there's a lot of people playing it.

No I meant the cards from the first event that they put in packs in every event after. I forget what they were called. I hope they do cuz I sold em both from last event.

I guess I'll never get them just because I play on Nintendo switch and never get a match up in any online game

@Warpedzilla_PSN rewinds. And that’s what I’m saying. There’s only been one event so far so there’s only two cards to rewind unless they put Season one cards in the pack.

I admittedly don't have the balls to play online PvP, because I'm nowhere near good enough. I still want to enjoy playing the game and I'm afraid getting my nuts kicked repeatedly might sour me on the game, ya know? I really want to play online, but I dunno.

@Sarge1387_PSN bro I'm sure you'd be fine. there's a few sweats early but I suck and already have 4 wins. quick games. (10-15minutes) worse case is you get blown out and get matched up with an easier opponent next game. I feel like the pattern is usually one offensive run in the 2nd or 3rd to decide it.

Rewind. That's right. Thanks. But Isn't that how season 1 started? The second event had the rewind pack from the 1st event. And then they added the next event cards and so on.

Okay I gave it a shot. Played three games tonight. I went 1-2. I did not embarrass myself but have little hope of reaching 10 wins.
- Game 1 - Faced 99 Satchel Paige followed up by 99 Brian Wilson. Managed to get two hits off of them. I pitched Tink Hence and Bruce Sutter and gave up three hits including a solo HR to 99 Willie Mays which was the only run scored.
- Game 2 - Faced 99 Satchel Paige again and both Rogers relievers. The game went to extra innings. In the 4th I scored my runner from 2nd on a single from Nootbaar. In the bottom of the inning I gave up a 2 run homer to, who else, 99 Willie Mays.
- Game 3 - Faced Kyle Harrison. I felt like I was handed this game because he pitched Harrison for all three innings with no energy. I won 3-1 thanks to a 2 run HR from Cornerstone Arenado. Guess how I gave up my one run....That's right it was a HR by 99 Willie Mays.
So good games, no blowouts. All three of my opponents only scored by hitting HRs with 99 Mays, otherwise maybe I win one of the other two games.
Either way it would be a huge struggle to get to 10 wins so I just put in a buy order for Goldschmidt and got him for just under 25K.

Maybe you should have tried one more time,and put in the negro league version,tried to get some of that luck.
It's not the 99 but still is Willie Mays, who knows , considering it was the one that played there it might have been better luck. -

@Dolenz64_XBL you'll be happy to hear that I entered the Rickwood event using the two Cardinal captains. It's a pretty amazing team. Won the first game after my opponent quit ( he was probably afraid of my team). Second game I won 2-1 with 2 solo HRs from LOU. Got my two uniforms and I'm done.

I unfortunately do not have Lou (and probably won't get Gibson - you're killing ms SDS)
The lineup I went in with was

- Lars Nootbaar
- Ryan Ludwick
- Nolan Gorman
- Pedro Pages
- Matt Carpenter
- Arenado (cornerstone version)
- Carlson
- Torre
Victor Scott of the bench to if a pinch runner was needed.
