I can only say that timing/all star feels as it did before. streaks have always happened, people are rushing to conclusions
This. I can't tell you how many times over the years people have come in claiming something had been nerfed immediately following the patch.
I have not noticed much difference playing Vs CPU on rookie.
-
On 6/11 (pre Patch) I beat the A's on rookie 21-1 with 24 hits and 14 HRS. I gave up 4 hits and 1 Eearned Run with three pitchers while racking up 21 strikeouts.
-
On 6/14 (after patch) I beat the White Sox 18-0 with 23 hits and 13 HRs. I gave up 4 hits, 0 ERs and while striking out 21 batters.
-
On 6/15 (after Patch) I beat the Giants 18-0 with 21 hits and had 11 HRS. I gave up one hit in the 9th to just miss out on a perfect game while striking out 19. I was using multiple CF and 2B so my power was not as great.
All three game were played at the same field (costco) and nothing really seemed out of the ordinary for me.

@cjhanz84_PSN I hope you are waiting for COD too … „every perfect perfect is an out“ … is so bad, because it is the biggest lie this forum has ever seen.

The OP may be correct or perhaps player concentration, patience and focus can be variable from day to day.
-
I just dropped 25 vs the cpu on veteran. And I kinda half asssed it after the 6th .
Hitting is fine. -

Nerfed.

Its all the same. You have good games and bad games. I literally have those types of games back to back. Same settings same lineup. Sometimes go nuts, sometimes nothing.
-
That's baseball though - one game you light up a team and the next you can't buy a hit. I get frustrated too especially if I only have time for a couple quick games and the logic has 72 rated cards dotting like Greg Maddox, but at the end of the day if EVERY game was 20-0 I'd probably not like that either and call it unrealistic. So basically SDS can't win LOL

I think the latter is probably the reason for me. The game has become tedious and boring, and that is probably showing up in my play. I am sick of grinding with garbage cards in dull programs to earn collection fodder, so I hurry through the games in order to get the program progress and end up with poor results.

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between veteran in mini seasons and veteran in conquest? I just trying to get the 20 HRs but in 2 games so far I have hit none and have 0 hits and lost both games but in conquest I hit better on veteran difficulty
-
@sbchamps17_NSW mini seasons seems to play harder then conquest. Not sure if the sliders are adjusted, or because the rosters you are facing in mini seasons are much much better then you see in conquest. Im guessing its the tougher rosters. I play on legend (usually) and there is definitely a difference between conquest and mini seasons in difficultly
-
OK I'll keep trying to get better
-
You are normally playing better teams in mini seasons. You also may not be hitting as well because you are using 87-91 level players

How do you not see the differences??? Your hits and HRs gradually decreased!! Clearly SDS is out to get you!! I bet you had at least 3 perfect/perfect for outs too!! THIS GAME SUCKS. Cant wait til NCAA so i wont be forced to play this game that i clearly hate anymore.

I just scored 14 on HOF in conquest against the Guardians. Looked all good to me. I hit well in BR today too for the most part. Game is fine
-
The new patch makes all star offline which i normal destroy the computer mini seasons like hall of fame online. Good pci and swing timing are now swings and misses. I never claim to be an great but when I'm playing offline and swings that were homeruns are swing and misses they need to tweak this patch.
-
Exhibit A ^^^
-
I will say one thing. Having to play these Padres pitchers on this conquest map. They definitely brought back the never throw strikes method. I guess to slow us down on finishing the map, every AB goes 3-2, and not able to get your TA stats because of walks.
-
Exhibit B ^^^
-
Yeah, I had a 4 inning game where I went down 9 straight ABs, won it in 4th. I also had a game last night where I scored 9 in 1st and 8 in 2nd.
This is not unusual for me, seen this many times throughout the years. The best explanation I have is in some games the CPU pitcher paints the corners throwing strikes that are not in places I hit well, or really can hit at all. On lower difficulties you can't put the PCI low enough to get under a pitch on the low corners. I also struggle with pitches on the inside. The games where I struggle, this is how I'm pitched. Its why I hate showdown so much, because this will happen at some point on every showdown run.
