Not if you offer a friendly. If they don’t accept they don’t accept, but at least you know what to expect

That's fair. You should know what difficulty your playing on. You should be able to specify what difficulty you want to play on even if it takes longer to get a match.

It would be nice if once you hit 700, you only play others at 700 or above. The difficulty shouldn't ping pong back and forth.
That was my experience last year, this year I've only cracked WC, don't know what the hell I'm doing.

Or at least bring back the leader board(s). #'s and stats are what makes baseball so cool!!

It doesn’t make sense why they removed this feature. It’s not like people can’t just hop on the game anyway to look up forum peoples records and trash talk that way.
They should just display the rating next to team record at the beginning of the game.

Just make it simple and show what level the game is on at the start up screen. Makes it easier than having to search and if some people got their feelings hurt last year this would solve it too. How hard would it be? It already lists the field etc at the start of the game. Just list hof legend etc.

I agree. Having the record and stats is almost like a very vague scouting report. It lets me know what type of player I’m playing, and if I’m getting matched up at all star difficulty once I start the ranked grind.

Yeah it's crucial. Let's you know swing percentage, steal percentage, pitching tendencies. Would be nice to know what difficulty the game is going to be before you take you 1st AB, too. Sort of puzzled about why they took it away in the first place, considering all the other places they added to the functionality of the dashboard.

I have a few questions about this from someone who really loves to play this game, usually tops out at like 700-750 in RS, but doesn’t really pay attention to how this stuff works:
- So the difficulty of the game changes based on who you play against? So like there is some sort of difficulty applied to each level and the difficulty of a particular matchup in RS reverts to the lower of the 2 difficulty levels between the 2 opponents?
- What exactly does the difficulty impact? Pitch speeds and PCI size?
- Somewhat related, is there anywhere to see your overall batting average and other metrics, as well as others on this forum or anywhere else? I think I found where it is on my profile, but the numbers either look wrong or are blank

- Difficulty changes from AS to HOF once you reach 700 in RS. However, say that you're ranked 701 and you play someone who is ranked 699. The game will default to AS difficulty. Both opponents have to be 700+ for the game to be played on HOF
- Pretty much. HOF has faster pitch speeds and smaller PCI. In my experience, HOF rewards user input more and is far less random in terms of hitting. It's not perfect (not even great IMO), but it is wayyyy better than AS difficulty
- You can see that in the actual game. I believe its under Stats & Standings on your squad tab. Idk if you can see it on this site anywhere
