To each their own, but I think I might be done. I see that they went completely tone deaf on the major complaint about in game XP, specifically the per inning stuff. And the Easier-to-obtain “bosses” are just 91 and 95 versions. Laziest possible effort put forth here from SDS.

After starting my boycott of S2, I played regs yesterday for the first time this year…Gotta say “quick counts” is awesome. Makes the games go SO much faster.

I quit playing after a couple of hours. I thought about turning on the game this morning, but just don’t see a reason to. I used to like Franchise, but since they took away the year to year carry overs, it seems pointless. Maybe after a few days I’ll get the itch to play some baseball, but it won’t be DD. It’ll just be because I love to play the game (baseball).
On a side note. Is this a cry for help from SDS? They were talking about Yasmani Grandal in the stream (37:35 - I had to look it up because I thought I heard wrong) and called him a speed demon (1 speed attribute). The presenter said she had a 100% success steal rate with him. So this is one of these things:
A. A secret or coded language meaning something else
B. I don’t understand the correct meaning of a stolen base
C. They are taking some type of foreign substance that’s causing them to talk nonsense
D. I still didn’t hear them correctly after listening to it twice, meaning I’m on something that’s rattled my understanding of the English language. -

I'm one of the very disappointed players with this year of DD and I'm not coming back. I was watching some Youtubers, if SDS makes any changes for better, but they stayed with exactly the same thing, why I deleted the game.
Seasons have to go away.
We were grinding from point zero every year, it became normal even when the changes across sports games are always minimal. But to grind cards from (almost) point zero every two or three months? No, thank you, it's not fun anymore -

I posted in this in another thread but this new group of 'management' seem to have no respect for the game of baseball. They treat this game like some shooting game and it shows how bad DD is this year. It's like they brought in another group who had no idea what baseball is and what DD is and they tried to put some shooting game pay to play concept to it.
At least the previous years Ramone and crew respected baseball and were true to the game. These new guys are completely lost and in over their heads and it shows.

I honestly don't mind starting over. as much as I could prep for the s2 reboot as I could, I did. now I'm in a great position team and stubb wise because I did the things. evens out the field. makes cards matter that normally wouldn't. the creation of best squad via captains and boosts is fun. we'll be able to use all of our cards again, until then, stay grindy.

Can someone help me out on how to get the jerseys you can’t get from the Marketplace and the ones earn from doing the Team Affinity? Such as the 1999 LA Dodgers alt uni, or the 2005 Colorado Rockies Alt Road Jersey and the 2001 Houston Astros home alt?

Correct and that is a fair comment, in some PvE game modes you can use whoever you want with stipulations. Personally, I don't see the appeal of playing sports games against bots very long as entertaining since I also do moments when necessary.
