Trying to see if a Castillo/Devers combo would work.
I was thinking the same thing but remember you can only use one at a time

I know we can't use more than one from each season but I'm wondering if we can wildcard Arenado/Buxton's S1 card and combine with Castillo S2.

Wait. We can't use a Pitching and a Hitting Cornerstone Captain from the same season; but we can use both from S1 like Carlos and Kershaw?
-
Just saw that the Stanton Cornerstone boost is hitters from the 2000s. Just like Ortiz's boost?
Makes no sense.

Remember how we had to exchange cornerstones whenever we wanted to use a different one in S1? Unless they change that, you couldn't have a Cornerstone hitter and pitcher both at the same time. (EDIT: Added Cornerstone to eliminate confusion because I know you could do regular pitcher/hitter captains both at same time).

It's the 2010 decade while Ortiz was the 2000 decade so similar but affecting a different group of players.

@Dolenz64_XBL
Too bad we don't have a Cano card. He was dominant during that time.Trout, Posey, Cano, Cutch, Votto, Might, Betts etc.... Cargo was good too.... We should get a good Beltre card to work with that Cap.
-
You have 2 active Season 1 captain cards. It was Maddux/Senga and Arenado/Buxton. You get two choices at launch. Our choices for S2 are Stanton/Devers/Castillo/Carroll. People should take a Castillo for sure as he boosts LS and you can't play two hitting captains at once.
-
My money is that a few of those S2 cards in TA will really be awesome with the captains they announced.

Umm,so we have to wait to get s2 cards to use the boost?
all LS would count as current year(2024)right? and the flashbacks of those current who played in the 2010s were set 1 cards....... -
@PAinPA_PSN
I believe it's the actual year (based on their age) of the card. So LS probably won't be eligible.... But some of their Flashbacks will be.For example, Betts LS will not be eligible, but if they released a 2019 Flashback card, then that card would be eligible.

Not sure how the team captains are handled. Mondesi in theory could be a 2019 card for example, but he did play in 2020 as well.
Seems like Castillo or Devers for day 1, transitioning to either of the others later in the season.
-
My choice probably will be Corbin Carroll because of his speed, and my lack of offensive production from my right fielders this year so far. My alternative choice is Rafael Devers who I have been successful with whenever I have used him for multiple years now.

@xElRojo44x-_MLBTS
I think LS Betts will count as he played between 2010-2019.

Yeah. I forgot that one can only be 'active'.

LS might(probably)will be counted as a 2024 card.
