R2 before every pitch
-
@AdeptOfMemory_PSN I know all this..was just curious why..as I said they blip it so fast that it serves no purpose.
-
Not every pitch no. I did not see that part.
-
I remember someone told me that they only "bunt dance" (with every batter) in order to "help with their (swing) timing". LOL
-
@xElRojo44x_MLBTS now that is funny
-
I do this on almost every pitch. Not to disrupt timing, but simple to check my opponent’s confidence, pitch confidence, stamina etc. The game moves fast and can’t get all the information I need on one press. I really wish there was a second screen option so I wouldn’t disrupt my opponent while checking ratings
-
Some people like to pitch too quickly and this helps slow them a bit .
-
This stuff is SO easy to fix. Just put the R2 info on the screen every pitch and take it off then the windup starts, just like the strike zone.
Want to fix bunt dancing? Significantly nerf hitter's ratings for the next pitch after two quick bunt taps. There is absolutely no reason to do it. You either show bunt because you're moving the runners over or you drop a bunt last second to surprise the fielders. I've never seen any baseball player bunt dance. It's not a baseball thing.
-
Yes bunt dancing should nerf your hitting.
-
I did some MLB The Show survey near the end of last year where I suggested that R2 take 30 seconds (or 15, or 10) off the pause timer. I thought that might stop the potential abuse of that button.
-
You hold R2 more than one time, per AB, I'm doing the same. Or at least taking the full tim alloted to pitch.
If you can't remember what pitches (usually 4-5 at most) that a pitcher throws, and where he threw them, then you're not 'equipped' to play this game online.
-
@jaychvz_XBL no you miss the point..they blip it so quick it's quicker then you can even pick a pitch
