MLB Team Captains Style Ranked

Not talking about switch hitting or lefty or corner stone captains, but the actual MLB captains.
I think a major flaw with sets and seasons is the captain builds, especially for smaller or non major or historical teams that don’t have as many legends.
Having a ranked that’s based on simply building a team, non season restricted, where you can use all the cards from your mlb team would help, I feel like this is sort of what they’re trying to.
If they’re not going to let us also use players who have played on multiple teams be eligible for team boosts, they need to figure something out like this to make it viable to actually want to use team captain before December.

It also doesn't help that they are hard to get. Maybe not hard to get but near impossible to be able to compare and contrast. I have the two Dodger ones, Ozzie Smith for the Padres, the Twin's pitching, and Alberto Mondesi. I have completed every program other than events and BR and those are the only ones I've been able to collect.

@Jcassaro44_MLBTS They should have adjusted either or both of the requirements for the boost and the quality of the players based on the availability of cards on those teams.

@theBlindRhino_PSN This is the biggest problem IMO. We should be able to get them all, so we can try different things. It’s not like a team full of these captains would be some game breaking team.

@GoozeFn_PSN Yes. I will be doing theme teams after XMAS. Getting the double boost with then (close-to-) an all99-squad will be very funny. Had a blast (the only time with 23) after last xmas doing that. Hopefully we will be able to have them all by then

Maybe … (just guessing) they thought that nobody would do lots of different teams. I do not have a favourite team and I do not think that the theme teams can compete in ranked (only the Yankees were viable in S1 as far as I remember) …
But I agree that there could be more … although I only need them after christmas

@YOSHI24_XBL I’d love to do a theme team with my favorite team, but there aren’t a lot of Padres I want to use and that Ozzie Smith is horrendous.

Oh yeah, he is (unfortunately)
… But that does not fit the thread imo … Usually you do not have a very good theme team this time of the year, if I am not mistaken -
