It wasn't long after that infamous "strike out" at bat where Hernandez called three straight pitches well outside of the strike zone as strikes that he never appeared in another game and now this.
That game was the end of the line and the patience of the MLB office. He was essentially fired. I only wish these actions were not so hushed up. When a player performs as badly as Hernandez, it's pretty public how they are demoted and released.
