Why wouldn't players like bagwell, Jim Edmonds, etc be boosted? They all played from 2000-2009? Anyone better at explaining It than just what the captain card says?

@Amac1702 The cards themselves have to be from a season within the 2000-2009 range. For example, that Edmonds card is an Angels card, he played for the Angels until 1999, so it wouldn't be a 2000's card.

Can you use the Cardinals hitting captain card to boost the Angels Jim Edmonds card?

Can you use Carlos Santana to boost Yordan Alvarez and Aaron Judge?

The thing that I would like to see change is, that people can see, which year the card is from.
I had struggles last year, but since that I only used the lineup-toggle and search for cards, the captain supports.
