Absolutely Terrible Game

Year after year we are fed garbage sports games. If you love sports and play video games we are forced to almost buy these games in order to have something to play. Besides the the visuals there is not much to like about this game. I am over 100 games into playing and the further along I’ve got, the more and more I notice the flaws of this game.
I’m talking about the inability of the ball to get through the the infield on the ground. The ground being concrete and from 15 feet away the ball goes over the wall for a ground rule double or bounces 10 feet above your outfielder going down the ball. How about the fact that you can somehow check swing after the ball has got to the catcher. Opponents hitting home runs on pitches that are perfect but they’re no where in the zone. Constantly getting good contact on the ball or perfect contact and over and over again getting out. The list of the issues can drag on and on. I’ve already boycotted the 2k basketball series because the game play became unbearable to deal with. NHL was terrible this past year and I am on the verge of never playing that again either l. Now we have the Show? The biggest issue with these games is having no competition. If you play sports games we are forced to buy them if you want to play a sports game. My hope is that someone in the future will attempt to make a sports game to compete against these companies and drive one another to be better. This game just seems like a big money grab with all the extra [censored] that you can buy that they constantly release week after week. Instead of that how about they actually fix some of these glaring issues that I’ve seen other players post on here as well. -

2K hasnt made a baseball game in over 10 years so your "boycott" was really just them stopping development of the game lol.
You're probably gonna take this the wrong way but it kinda just sounds like you suck at sports games lol. Maybe Madden will be better for you.

@Easy_Duhz_It_ I would say he has some truths in his post. If you will admit there are some gameplay and bug issues in this game you can absolutely at the least say it's enough to make people extremely discourage and unmotivated to try to learn how to play. Yeah, he probably didn't say much of this well but it's absolutely fair to say this game has its issues that will drive a playerbase out and away for good. We KNOW this is true at least to a noticable degree.
It really does suck that in today's technology we cant make other versions of MLB or NFL etc games without ONE greedy company to own it all.
Indie games on PC do so well because they don't have to rely on one [censored] company controlling their every move. You don't see that in sports games. -

Im not gonna admit to [censored] that doesnt happen to me. People in the forums like to exaggerate. I find it hard to believe that he constantly gets good/perfect contact and they're all outs. I find it hard to believe that hes never gotten a groundball through the infield. It may not happen as frequently as he would like but, in here, people think if you're not putting up 20 runs a game, its a conspiracy and SDS has a personal vendetta against them.

Like they are just here for no reason. These issues are VERY real. And you gaslighting and acting as if since it doesn't happen to you it's not real is literally making the issue worse.
I'm happy for you you've never experienced these issues. Id say that's some luck I would want to have cause it's seriously done damage on my love for this franchise just as it has many others. SDS white knights live in this weird bubble that sparks this insane defense of these greedy game companies that makes you turn on others who are the same as you. They just want to play a good somewhat polished game. They come here to vent their frustrations and you come here "WeLl I No SeE isSUe! YOu biG dUmb BAd! SDS mY loRd and SavioR! nO CriTisIze Dem!"

This generation of dev is full of losers.
