Will S1 Captain Cards boost S2 players?

Team captains I would say Yes they will. They are Core Cards.

Cornerstone and other Captains are S1 cards so they obviously won't be allowed in restricted content such as Ranked.

For unrestricted S2 content is is cloudier but I can't see why they would not boost everyone.

@MarinerMatt01 No he hasn't. Even if the Santana card didn't exist, you would still see a ton of switch hitter lineups. There are so many top switch hitter cards and most of them are barely getting a boost when used with Santana.

The mere existence of a switch hitting captain card incentivizes people into create those lineups. Doesn’t matter how significant the boost is. Now every single lineup you say is Santana and switch hitters. No variety.

Besides, you said on another thread in a post defending Santana and all switch hitting lineups, “Ehh, different strokes for different folks. I have been using a majority switch lineup for years and would be with or without Santana. Get better at pitching I guess.”

Yes I’m salty because I rely on pitching and have been getting my clock cleaned. Maybe I should get better at pitching I guess, or maybe get others should get better at same sided hitting? Either way, this has been a contentious issue within the community. Hopefully a solution can be found and we’ll meet towards the middle somewhere.

I think only Core and S2 Captains can boost S2 players; S1 Captains in WC slot will boost S1 players in other WC slots where there's requirements, so basically useless (first treshold is 7 players I think?)
