I’ve played 17 solo ranked games, and 100 co-op innings. Finished both previous ranked programs, earned one card and bought the other when they got cheap. I haven’t spent a dime since release, and I don’t keep track of my offline games, nor my hours, as I play to have fun, earn packs, finish programs, finish collections etc. As this is a video game, they’re for entertainment so that’s why I play. If I’m not having fun, I don’t play. If there are things I can’t have in the game, via things I don’t want to do, I don’t care.
You know who throws temper tantrums about wanting things they can’t have?

@AdeptOfMemory You cant'buy Pettite. That card is in the S1 reward path. and 40k stubs for a World Series reward card is cheap. They're all 40K or less, just like Posada will be.

You can't be casual thinking 40k is cheap. Still proving my point about the sweats and vampirism is required to think 40k stubs is cheap. -

"Casuals don't have that kind of time, money, or devotion to earn enough stubs in time to have good cards for the season.

@AdeptOfMemory And also, you can use any card you want in online and offline modes. Cards are only set restricted in Solo Ranked, certain Events, certain Mini Seasons and Conquest maps.
Co-op, USA Conquest map, play vs. CPU, Battle Royale, and Events will all give you the opportunity to use any card in your inventory you like. The full game cycle.
How you do not understand that is your own problem. And you've said you don't even play Solo Ranked so.......... I'm not sure why you're so concerned as that's the main mode that is Season locked.

@AdeptOfMemory I am a mid level player , my current record is 10-4 .
If I decided to play more ranked my record would not be great but it would be a winning record .
I usually go for Angels team build but sometimes I vary it.
I grind a lot of br and events and mini seasons.
I like captain team builds . I try to mix and match like ozzy Smith + Greg Maddux team build gives you crazy amount of clutch . -
@AdeptOfMemory Are you seriously mad that there are people who enjoy playing a fantasy mode in a video game? It really seems like you are.
It also seems like you're jealous that there are people who spend money on entertainment, because, that's what this is, entertainment. And people who spend money on the game, probably have all kinds of other things entertainment wise they spend money on as well.
Case in point, I took my kid to our first game of the season last weekend, tickets, snacks, etc. Hundreds of dollars, should I not spend money on that because it might offend someone?
And I don't think it's a good look to tell people what they should spend their own money on.

They don't play ranked. But they're mad that they can't buy a card they won't use in a mode they don't play.

@BJDUBBYAH I get not wanting to play Ranked, but why not let the people who play the mode earn it and sell it? I’m keeping mine, but it’s so attainable to such a large base that they will surely be plenty to sell in a week or two.
Now the time crunch set by seasons and the wild card slots to use those cards I definitely agree. It hurts strictly offline players more than a mix bag like me.
