Yet Another Game “Update” That Doesn’t Address Actual Issues

@doobiebross66-72 I am legit telling you, nothing will change until they go next gen only. It's a simple fact.
-
@Loyal-Wiglaf I don’t play the CPU on rookie, so I have no frame of reference. And my stub bank is fine, so I could care less about “market manipulation” or whatever. Once again, opinions.
You can have yours, I can have mine.

@Doctor-Fauci910 can't you scroll pass and ignore what i say?

And I’m legit telling you that I agree with that statement
But do you think that is justification for not trying to fix the game this year? Or even addressing their community’s concerns?

Don't worry, I'll make sure to do so from now on.

This topic should be locked due to all the fake news OP is trying to put out here. Nothing he has said is actually factual and deserves to be deleted. Please do I little research instead of just writing nonsense. Thank you

People want foul balls to be tuned and sliders to not be glitched/treated as if they are out of the zone when they're in the zone. That is not so much to ask, no one is asking them to build a new hitting and pitching engine halfway through the year lol

Exactly. The issues I posted should not be hard for an actual “game development” company to try and fix….or even address from a business PR standpoint yet here we are

@doobiebross66-72
A lot of it has to do with Major League Baseball, ever since this went cross platform it's been on a down hill spiral, It's really sad, especially with how great MLB 20 was, I wish they'd just go back to 20's format, they cater now to the casual player now, the BR thing is a great example, you can't farm stubs because the causal player (beginner) can't go 10-0. I could go on and on about everything they went away from but it' really not worth my breath, I will play this game, becuase I somewhat enjoy it, but I know all EA has to do is drop an NCAA football trailer and this game is chalked.
-
@Doctor-Fauci910 they need a new engine, a new pci system, a new pitching system, these are stuff that can't just be tuned, if they tune down foul balls the causal/new players will be complaining that hitting is to hard.
-
Funny how long it took to patch putting a bunch of brick walls between the pitcher and home plate but they had to change BR right away because it was “not the way the game was intended to be played”

Funny how you can still put a bunch of brick walls between the pitcher and home plate but they had to change BR because it’d “not the way the game was intended to be played”
Like I said, just shows that they don’t care about a quality game, just their bottom line

@doobiebross66-72 apparently it’s patched now so I edited my comment

I agree
Despite what you said being correct, it’s still not a valid excuse for the terrible job, and lack of communication, we’ve witnessed this year
Hence my thread

Why is it so hard for people to comprehend that the people complaining often and loud is out of a love for something they want to be better? You should be more concerned about the people that couldn’t care less. They have already moved on. This forum, the sub Reddit, and now twitch and YouTube are overwhelmingly critical of this terrible game. If major changes are not made by SDS you will get your wish and the criticism will die. And the game will die right behind it.
You have 2 more months and this place will be a ghost town.

@chucky97___ well good for you, ghandi. I'm happy you have ascended to peak human who knows how to deal with spending wasted money and time.
For anyone else who hasn't ascended to godhood and wants their hard earned money spent on a game to reflect at least a little bit of success we come to the forums cause we clearly can't play the broken game. It's not about being some humble person who is just ok with wasting $100 dollars and move on. You sound like a whale. Spitting on people who get mad about the game they likely barely could afford or saved up and had to use their money wisely in order to get the game.
YOU might be able to afford spending $100 and be like "welp, on to the next $100 game. Maybe that will be better and if it isn't........I DONT CARE! I am a wealthy humble man willing to spend my money on anything and just be satisfied if it doesn't work. It's only a video game......"You're deaf dude. It's wild. You're not helping your fellow man. You're defending greed and shotty business practice without even realizing it. That's how wealthy you are. We can't even think like you. It's clear that money and time are not the same thing to you compared to the people who feel their time and money have been ripped away from them and all you say is shrug "sucks to suck man. Go away now while I spend more money on this game."

Great comment. I voice my criticisms/complaints/issues because I’ve loved playing this game for over a decade now. I want this game to be the best it can be because this is honesty the only video game I play or have time for in my life anymore
So yeah, I’m gonna voice my issues in hopes that the company responsible for this game takes them into consideration and that we all get a better product as a result

@chucky97___ They have tuned things in the past. It is possible to tune things without creating an entirely new hitting engine. Which, again, I agree that is something they need to do but obviously that is not reasonable to suggest they do mid year.
To your second point, yeah, I agree, players who suck just slam their PCI around and foul everything off. That is what people are complaining about. If your point is that they do this on purpose to keep those players engaged then I also agree this is probably the case. I disagree that we should just accept that and never voice our opinions about it.
I don't think we disagree on anything regarding the game/how it plays. I just think it is actually a good thing for people to voice their frustrations, and you seem to think that as consumers we are just supposed to lay down and accept whatever we are given, but these companies have shown time and time again that with enough push back from their players they will change things.
So again you are probably going to reply to this and say "well they won't change anything because blah blah blah" and I'm not going to waste any more time responding that I agree with you on most of your analysis about this game and how it plays at the moment. I just think people should complain about things that can be changed and that are bad in a game, especially when a large group of people agree on it- plenty of the youtube guys/streamers are saying this same stuff on twitter.

Lots of good comments in here and it's so silly I only get 20 likes lol

They have gone down a path that caters to the beginner player. Foul balls are at its worst point ever, but they are so far down the hole they are not even trying to dig their way back up, my guess is they are already working on 25. Tomorrow is make or break for the year, ncaa is knocking on the door.
