@doobiebross66-72 you post the same garbage every day and the game hasn't changed, thy are really listening to you brother!!
Great callout, so since nothing has changed we should all just stop voicing our valid issues? Ha okay
And “every day” is far fetched at best
I’ll stop here and cease responding to you as you are someone who complains about people voicing valid criticisms. Pretty pathetic

@BJDUBBYAH would you agree that SDS has done an awful job this year? Asking you because you seem to be the most staunch defender of the game this year
I don’t think they’ve done a great job. The loss of account progress to how many thousands of players was unacceptable, the lack of DD access for switch players was unacceptable. But gameplay and content is all a matter of opinion, IMHO. You’re entitled to yours, and I’m entitled to mine.

Every time I open one of these threads it’s full of people being like “why are you complaining so much, all you do is complain”
Yeah that’s how being a consumer works. You pay for a product and if there are issues with that product you try to communicate that to the manufacturer of said product. Sliders are broken. Foul balls allow players to stay in at bats they don’t belong in. These things need to be complained about because they make our experience playing the game worse and if SDS wanted to they could fix them.
I feel like the group that just likes to complain about other people complaining are mostly offline players and If you’re only playing against the CPU offline then these issues barely impact you. If something doesn’t impact you then you should let the impacted people voice their opinion without defending the multi million dollar corporation for no reason.
people have complained for 3 straight years. Nothings changing. UNTIL this company makes the full switch to NEXT GEN and leaves old consoles in the past this game will never update or never change.
Okay that's fine. You're probably right. I don't think anything will change either, I agree that old gen hardware is holding the game back. They probably need to hire a lot more devs and rebuild everything from the ground up. That doesn't mean we shouldn't voice our opinions and hope they hear it and change things. You can just scroll past and ignore it.

The Switch fiasco?
Rookie CPU pitching being bugged for the first 2 weeks?
The change to BR that crushes NMS players?
The manipulation of the market -- clamping down on stubs and xp to encourage microtransactions?
The absolute lack of communication to the community?
"Not a great job" is the euphemism of all euphemisms. You know, YOU can enjoy something in a completely personal, subjective way and still try to be objective about an overall assessment. I don't think you're doing that. I absolutely LOVE Halo Infinite's campaign, but I also cede to Halo lifers that it is a near-absolute failure as a "Halo game."

@chucky97___ "You paid money for a product and expected to work the way you intended to use it?? Lol you dumb [censored]. I for one will keep buying their slop. You should simply stop playing. This slop is amazing! You not acknowledging that the slop is amazing is the problem."
You're insane SDS bootlicking is mind blowing. I can't believe people think this way. It's the reason we are in this very problem. YOU.
I'm in the wrong for voicing my opinion until they fix their [censored] game. I'm in the wrong for being upset about losing rank for games I was winning but the freeze off gave the win to other guy. I'm in the wrong for criticizing SDS servers for constantly crashing.
Clearly you've never played ANY live service game outside of this.
World of Warcraft, Call Of Duty, Fortnite, Magic The Gathering, Hearthstone, Halo, Balders Gate, etc. Every single one of these games have live service development that is 100 percent solely focused on bugs and gameplay polish.
They all still have a playerbase simply because of this kind of development staff. This staff is constantly fixing bugs and monitoring live gameplay. They have forums that these staff members are dedicated to and attentive FAR more than SDS is.I have been on those forums JUST like I have here. Every single one of those games their developers actually respond and will fix the well known bugs and issues. SDS has crickets. Oh wait no.....THEY DROP MORE $40+ CONTENT.
SDS is proving to me they are NOT game developers. They are marketers pretending to be developers.

@doobiebross66-72 I am legit telling you, nothing will change until they go next gen only. It's a simple fact.
-
@Loyal-Wiglaf I don’t play the CPU on rookie, so I have no frame of reference. And my stub bank is fine, so I could care less about “market manipulation” or whatever. Once again, opinions.
You can have yours, I can have mine.

@Doctor-Fauci910 can't you scroll pass and ignore what i say?

And I’m legit telling you that I agree with that statement
But do you think that is justification for not trying to fix the game this year? Or even addressing their community’s concerns?

Don't worry, I'll make sure to do so from now on.

This topic should be locked due to all the fake news OP is trying to put out here. Nothing he has said is actually factual and deserves to be deleted. Please do I little research instead of just writing nonsense. Thank you

People want foul balls to be tuned and sliders to not be glitched/treated as if they are out of the zone when they're in the zone. That is not so much to ask, no one is asking them to build a new hitting and pitching engine halfway through the year lol

Exactly. The issues I posted should not be hard for an actual “game development” company to try and fix….or even address from a business PR standpoint yet here we are

@doobiebross66-72
A lot of it has to do with Major League Baseball, ever since this went cross platform it's been on a down hill spiral, It's really sad, especially with how great MLB 20 was, I wish they'd just go back to 20's format, they cater now to the casual player now, the BR thing is a great example, you can't farm stubs because the causal player (beginner) can't go 10-0. I could go on and on about everything they went away from but it' really not worth my breath, I will play this game, becuase I somewhat enjoy it, but I know all EA has to do is drop an NCAA football trailer and this game is chalked.
-
@Doctor-Fauci910 they need a new engine, a new pci system, a new pitching system, these are stuff that can't just be tuned, if they tune down foul balls the causal/new players will be complaining that hitting is to hard.
-
Funny how long it took to patch putting a bunch of brick walls between the pitcher and home plate but they had to change BR right away because it was “not the way the game was intended to be played”

Like I said, just shows that they don’t care about a quality game, just their bottom line
-
@doobiebross66-72 apparently it’s patched now so I edited my comment

I agree
Despite what you said being correct, it’s still not a valid excuse for the terrible job, and lack of communication, we’ve witnessed this year
Hence my thread
