I can honestly say i NEVER do this … but thiss game is really getting out of control

THE BATTING SYSTEM MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE

IF THE GAME TELLS ME I HIT THE BALL PERFECTLY THEN HOW AM I NOT BEING REWARDED FOR THAT … I DON’T UNDERSTAND IT

BUT LATES AND EARLY SWINGS ARE CONSTANTLY CONSTANTLY REWARDED … IT MAKES ZERO SENSE

SHOULD I AIM TO HAVE BAD TIMING WHEN I SWING ??? LIKE I DONT GET IT

What if the pitcher also got a perfect on his input , the rng has to work for him too . Plus it happens in real baseball. 110 mph line outs and 79 mph bloopers for singles .

Same in real life baseball you can hit it perfectly but it won't always be a hit or homerun

@sbchamps17 I’m talking about the disproportionate amount of just lates and just early that results in hit compared to perfect perfect … its backwards … like how should i aim to the hit the ball ? Should i aim to Time it later or early ?

@jaychvz its a game bro … if the GAME says i hit the ball perfectly i should get rewarded for that … its easier to get perfect pitch release than it is to get a perfect hit

You need to look at your launch angle, exit velocity, and where the fielder is positioned to determine if you hit the ball well. Don't depend on some silly graphic that tells you that you hit the ball squarely because that isn't what makes a great hit. Maybe a perfect hit, but not a great hit.

If a team shifts on you (not shift in the old way, but within the new rules), a perfect hit will probably go right to a fielder. For example, if you're a left-hander, you want to hit the ball late so it goes down the line. That is a great hit, not a perfect hit, but a great one.

@jaychvz [censored] man wish this was true when I throw perfect pinpoints. I can't tell you how many times I throw a perfect pitch and it gets clobbered by a late swing that missed the PCI. When will I get rewarded for landing perfect pitches in or out of the strike zone?

@Blind_Bleeder Then why does SDS have it in the game as if it matters? Why would a game developer put a graphic to show you how well you hit the ball only for you to have to go out of your to ignore that graphic to find the more accurate information that doesn't show up as the other graphic? Do you work for SDS?

That is a very good question. They need to remove that graphic because too many people don't understand the trajectory of a baseball off a bat in relation to how hard the ball was thrown and where the ball was hit in the zone. It's a meaningless graphic and should be removed.

@Blind_Bleeder so then you missed his original point. He's not being rewarded for something SDS clearly wants the player base to care about. Do you share the same thoughts about perfect pitches? Cause clearly the perfect rule applies there. If you aren't perfect you miss your target and can be very easily punished.
Put the argument on the other side and ask why are bad timings and PCI rewarded with foul balls galore instead of strike outs?
Would you then say every single one of those graphics are wrong too?

I would say it has to do with physics.

You are forgetting that there are 7 1/2 guys out there waiting to catch it.
It does suck, my hardest hit ball so far is a 120.1 mph line out to SS.
