Justin Verlander Hall of Fame moment.

Just had to get this out, I'm a casual Veteran/All star player, I gave up 2 runs in the first 3 innings, then Verlander started pitching a Gem got all the way to the 9th with 14 Strikeouts then with 2 outs they get their 3rd run, I'm not gonna do that mission ever again, but Verlander is very good I'm gonna start using him in ranked.

Don't feel bad it happened to me where I got all the Strikeouts and then with 2 outs in the top of the 9th they started getting hit after hit and scored. It was all hits where it was just out of reach for my fielder after that gave up and didn't try again

I feel like these are the only types of hits the AI ever gets off me, cheap little Texas leaguers...or when there seems to be absolutely zero urgency from the fielder. I've seen them pull up on a ball they should and would have 100% gotten to...which lends credence to the "predetermined hit" nonsense

I was in a BR game yesterday and had Willie Mays in CF and he pulled up WAY early on what should have been a routine out for any CF in the game. Luckily it ended up not mattering but it was infuriating at the time.

Pitching is my strength, but this is the 1 Extreme Moment I didn't even attempt! I did all but this. I finished the AL Central without it.
I know how this game can be. You could be cruising, then a Mike Breen BANG, and they start hitting everything! I wasn't even going to try! -
I thought this was one of the easier ones. I did it in three attempts. The first time my pitch count was to high so I gave up late runs, the second I tried to pitch to contact early and fell behind on Ks and missed by two. Third try was sort of a combo of previous two and finished it.

I got to two outs in the 9th and then the wheels fell off for me. I had 1 strike left and gave up a HR instead. Haven't tried it since.
-
No one can beat my bad luck. The first time I got a shut out but only 10 K's. The second time I had 18 K's but gave up 2 runs and they had a runner on 3rd with 2 outs in bottom of 9th! Guy hits a comebacker to Verlander, which is me, and because of the RTTS settings or whatever, I had no idea how to throw to first base! So run scored and I lost the moment again. Eventually did it later with no issues.

I had a ranked game where it was an extra innings, I had gotten the lead in the top of the inning.
Two outs bottom of the 9th 1st and second, routine ground ball to Lindor...who boots it. Not even an input throwing error, just a flat out boot. Luckily I got the next guy out so it didnt matter but it was one of those moments where you want to throw the controller.I would say 95% of the runs the CPU scores off of me are balls that are either on the edge of the PAR closest to middle of the plate, or more often completely off the PAR. Pulse pitching was extremely nerfed this year. The PAR is now effectively a donut because pitches never go to its center, and 25% of the time the pitches ignore the PAR altogether
