Topic title change is needed. Should be something like can we talk about how bad OP is at hitting this year.

Game it so bad. Foul ball, foul ball, foul ball, foul ball, foul ball, until the game forces your pitch in the zone and they get a hit.
It's so annoying.

@Tylerslikewhoa I'm actually hitting for a higher average and OPS this year in Ranked than I ever have.
But wouldn't expect a troll to take the 30 seconds to look that up LOL

But to answer your Initial questing, no. We can't talk about how [censored] hitting is becasue many of the players would never get a hit if they fixed the game

Exit velo is way up. I’ve hit way too many 500 foot home runs. Foul balls are an issue. Like worst than 2 years ago. I had an event game I won 6-1 a few days ago dude got one hit a solo homer he had 54 foul balls in 3 innings I had 7. Understand keeping casuals involved….but my goodness

I wonder if the foul ball issue is something that can be patched? Im guessing no but Im not a videogame dev.

Half the time I go to two strikes its because I fouled off something with good timing so I don't know if it would have a big impact on my bad hitting

I always laugh when people pick max elevation stadiums then complain about giving up too many homers lol

@bjd10048 easy….cuz home runs sell video games. I think it’s as simple as that. SDS really gave the fan base a kick in the groin this year.

Was about to come here and post about hitting.. but oh my is it horrible. Not sure if it’s just battle royale or what but it’s either some fluke [censored] single then a homer and it goes both ways. It feels like the game predetermines who is gonna get the hits and it’s either you get the good rng or you don’t. There doesn’t feel much skill right now. I shouldn’t be winning games 9-2 with 12 hits then all of the sudden next game I can’t hit a beach ball.. can we just have a competitive online gameplay that stops really rewarding bad contact?? It’s so infuriating.
