I’m jealous of good hitters !! How do you follow the ball when breaking or going so fast … My eyes are slow !! I’m usually a mistake or ball hanging hitter !! I move the pci and miss or contact but late early results . I practice at the highs level legend and I’m an amateur… At the lower levels I hit the ball like everybody else.

    Suggestions would be grateful!!

It's muscle memory from lots of practice combined with good hand/eye coordination and good reflexes.

Fish Eye 2 batting camera. You’re able to see the pitches a lot better.

I saw a video the other day that has helped me a little. Basically, watch the pitcher. In the first 5-6 frames, if the ball goes across his body, it will be outside the strikezone. If it stays at the same place as the release (vertically), it will be outside the strikezone. The video did not talk about high or low pitches.

You need to bat from strikezone 1 to see it best.

So far, there have been very few exceptions to this for me. This has not helped me on the higher difficulty levels where it seems the ball goes right through the bat because of the smaller pci.
