Cornerstone Captain Card

Decided to exchange Maddux for Buxton after seeing all the posts about how good he is made a team with his boost and WOW what a difference. I think I might keep him for now unless someone can tell me how the Nolan Arenando card is and what exactly his captain boost does

For HOF I went with tier 2 Buxton and only started 4 players. The other 4 were on the bench.
I hate playing with a bunch of slow players -
I think I may stick with buxton right now, Maddox was good and had him to P3 but his boost just wasn't cutting it anymore

They need more cornerstone captains, Buxton is easily the way to go getting that fielding and speed to go with power.

Buxton will be phased out soon though. Not many of the better cards are going to have under 60 vision. It's going to be hard to validate using some of the cards needed to get that boost.

FYI - Last night I barely found out that you can collect all 4 Cornerstone Captain cards for the Season 1 collection and still switch Cornerstone Captains in the exchange.

Why can’t I switch cornerstone card. I collected him but he’s not in lineup. Nothing gets highlighted on exchange player ?

I think you need to have him out of all line ups in all modes. -

While I generally agree, sometime the supercharged players will be “better” than the better cards with the boosts. Many times they will have less than 60 vision naturally, but 75+ vision after the super charge.
I’m not good enough at the game to know whether this is still “good enough”, though.

I accidentally locked Arenado. Guess I wasn’t paying attention idk. I can’t exchange him now which sucks.

It doesn't matter if you collected him. You can exchange him if he's not in ANY lineup. Check everywhere...squad, BR, event...
