Yes but we wait a couple of days for the top players to get their 20 wins

It’s the only way to make quick and easy stubs. It will be sweaty all year.

As primarily a HOF player who makes WS, but is not good on Legend, I went 25-8 in events last round.
If you're primarily a Allstar player rated 500-700, it may be better to wait a few days.
Cuz the ws gamers who play legend regularly will be going for their 20 wins. -

And the Dodgers are better than the majority of teams in the league, but those teams still have to face the Dodgers.

I definitely think it needs some form of very loose matchmaking I’m at like a 60% win percentage but I’m playing guys that win 95%+ of their games it’s frustrating and definitely scares/pushes away most people

Btw I’ve reached 20 wins the last two events this one just seems insanely difficult for an average maybe slightly above average player.

Do any normal human beings play the events? Every single team I face is like 27-3, 15-0, 35-8. It kind of sucks the fun out of the mode for most people to go in and get stomped every game by these cracked players. End rant
Stop playing events in the first few days they are available. All the goons are out to f up us mere mortals.
I don't even look at an event game until 3 days have passed lol

@VioletNine9 two people have suggested, it’s best to wait a couple of days if you feel like you’re overmatched. I know it’s what I do, and I end up with much better matchups because of it.
It’s a competitive game mode, you’re going to match up with players that are better. That also doesn’t mean you’re going to lose.
Another suggestion, seriously, don’t look at records. Hold the button and skip to the game. That helped me a ton.

not even bothering with this event. accidently locked in the rewind rewards and sds makes them unsellable this time smh. guess I'll just wait for the next one.

I get that it's annoying and I once felt that way too but think about it from the goon perspective: they face nothing but sweats every time they load into ranked or BR. If I was one of them, I'd want a mental break from that by beating up on event people for some easy, casual wins too lol

Goons are a small percentage of the player base that SDS doesn’t need to retain they will stay regardless

I have played events this year just because of being done with BR and RS, but haven't noticed it great for earning stubs. What makes it a quick/easy way to make stubs?

It's a great analogy but I do feel like I play the Dodgers every time out in Events. When do I get to play the Marlins?

Yeah, it sucks that the players that are goonish on HOF and legend get to feast on the average Joes treading water on allstar. The average player would get destroyed on HOF and legend, meanwhile the goons never get destroyed on all these game modes that reside only on allstar unless they themselves get matched against a goon too.

I think I'm like 20-7 or something like that. I do alright on All-Star but once it gets above that I'm usually around .500 if I'm lucky. Never made World Series.
What I mean by "no stress" is just that it doesn't really hurt anything if you lose. Like in ranked it affects your record/rating and BR costs stubs to enter.
