Team Affinity 2

So we’re basically gonna have to do 3x the amount of grinding in team affinity as last year. Guessing stage 2 will be the same length, we conquest maps, new moments, and more missions.
I dont know how I feel. I was so burnt out on grinding TA’s last year after the 3rd season and there was only one TA a season. I hope at least they keep the pitcher missions short and the content is really good.
-
This is my first year playing, and the grind on Conquest is almost enough to make me not want to play the game anymore.
-
@xXcGilmer18Xx
Should have seen last year when they had a new conquest map every single week. All the city connect uniforms that were added were also conquest maps. It was ridiculous.
-
I don’t understand how anyone thinks that even if we were to do three times what we already did this year for TA S1 for each TA that it would be anything close to what was expected last year.
Honestly, though, I very much enjoyed last year’s grind.
-
Lol, SDS has it rough. Half the fan base is pissed because there is nothing to grind for while the other half is pissed that they are going to have to grind too much.
I'm playing MTO because there is nothing for me to do in DD until Friday.
-
"But it will be super quick and easy so who cares if you have to do it 3 times per season" - random SDS defender
-
TA being broken up is tied to power creep. We'll get a 32 new cards and a handful of them will replace people on our personal god squads. I have no problem with that.
I have a problem with the launch...with SDS not apologizing...with SDS nerfing the economy...with packs being considered content...LOTS of things.
Not with this.

If you compare TA from 2023 to 2024 and think that overall it is the same … you either do not know what it meant to grind in 23 or you are simply comparing the wrong things.
Yes, there will be conquests … which you can do. I did not do all my conquest and finished TA simply by playing online for about 10 days. That is a heck more fun than in 23, where you could not do that at first.
If you do not play offline, do it in mini seasons … and to conquest/Showdown. If you are only playing the game beating up the opponents on rookie at dummf%%% Shield Woods, then you should probably ask yourself if you are wasting your time
In the end: If you think cards should be presented in free packs with nothing to be done … then you are wrong all-the-way

Agree 100%. I did do the CQ maps, but the online missions go by much faster (if you like online).

People are mad there are more packs, people are mad that there’s too much to grind. Lmao I’m convinced that half this community wants every new card added to the game to be auto-added to their inventory so they don’t have to grind or open packs lmfao. Truly a novel concept that you have to play the game in order to receive in game rewards. I’d argue there’s nowhere near enough to grind. I’m able to play a max of about 8-10 hours per week and I had everything maxed out by Saturday morning

I doubt it will be as long, as they won't be giving us new uniforms and I don't see them giving us anything to replace them.
-
So if they don't make it a long grind, there's not enough content. But if they make enough content, we complain about having too much to grind.
The correct answer is to have TOO much content, so that people are always kept busy, but then everyone complains because the rewards take too long to get.

TA Season 1 Drop 2
AL WEST
93 JR Richard (Astros)
93 Tim Salmon (Angels)
93 Mitch Garver (Rangers)
93 Daniel Vogelbach (Mariners)
93 Pipeline Jacob Wilson (A’s)

At least we're up to 93s now
-
Man I love this game and franchise but seeing TA as 93s and not 94s is concerning. 94s in a new pack today. This leads TA 3 to be 97s with 99s in packs. This is going to make the community go crazy. NC dub is right around the corner and any chance of people that aren't die hards staying is basically out the window
-
@xXcGilmer18Xx you don’t like playing board games instead or baseball? Who woulda thought. Other than the fact it’s just a rip off of another company’s game. It’s the only original idea SDS has so is where they put everything lol

Stadium sounds and team bat skins would be chapters 2 and 3.
For season 2 it would be team icon, team banners and maybe another retro uni. -
@TubaTim90 You forum narrators are the strangest of your kind. What year was it that everyone complained there were too many rewards and they just couldn’t stop earning them? Some of y’all need a helmet just for typing lol

@DeleteyourTTVBTW my thoughts exactly. There are plenty of other games I can play with the conquest concept. Really just wanna play baseball..
