Do you let your kids play DD?

@chucky97___ to me, everyone who complains about “pack luck” sounds like a gambling addict.
-
Set the rule that she can't purchase stubs. If she does, uninstall the game. Not that hard. Sometimes parents gotta parent.

@BJDUBBYAH This actually sounds like a great idea, Thanks man.
I be really glad we did it, and I think you’ll have equally as good a time
If you’re not a RTTS guy, you can buy Diamond Perks of of the market for like 1k each to get a little boost to start
-
yes he's 15 so i dont care.

You can get through Diamond Dynasty without ever buying a pack. You can play through the game, earning stubs, and spend those stubs to purchase a specific card on the market. Same as any game with a in-game monetary system.
So if you go into it with the right attitude and treat all the free packs as a bonus, it seems fine. And to the guy calling this satire, pay to win videogames use the exact same psychology as casino games. Read some articles about it. They list pack odds to avoid regulation, not because they want to be open & honest with players.
-
Look at it as an alternative lesson:
She is going to be bad initially. Everyone is. Buying packs, or stubs for cards, won't actually help her get better. Some things in life money wont solve, and sucking at MLBtS is definitely one of those things
-
@IrishFist412 Honestly that is an awesome take … I personally would not have thought about it playing the game … BUT It would carefully watch out, if my kid would watch some content creators. I honestly do not like „influencing people“ promoting betting systems, which most of them do

At some point you should teach her about those things and the dangers of it or she will be at the mercy of the world to teach her it.
This seems to me like a safer way to do that compared to alternatives but that is for you to decide. -
I just noticed this

she prefers playing mobile games with her friends.
Maybe you are better off not knowing....

Opening packs on MLB the show is no different from opening a pack of Topps from the local card shop. You can get a bunch of nobodies. You can pull Mike trout 1 of 1.
