It’s definitely worth continuing. There’s still 60 days left of the season, plenty of time to get to the bosses even if you just were to start now. You’re gonna want to grind out some of those mini seasons/conquest maps though cause they made it harder to get XP from just playing online and there’s a cap per day of how much you can get from just playing so xp rewards in other places are more beneficial now.

XP is truly killing my desire to play when I know I can only get 15K a day

I don't understand the obsession with this one track. Its where like <2% of the cards come from.

It is false you can only get 15k a day. Thats just gameplay xp, and most people don't cap that anyway. You get xp from programs (offline and online), mini season objectives the first run through, and from some conquest maps.

We know they will have double xp/double cap days in the future, and its likely that future programs will start giving more xp. If you want to bosses it is 99% likely youll be able to get them still.

    Back to the cap topic:
I have all programs complete, done all mini seasons twice, 150 stars on Ranked, 100 stars on BR, all conquest
I have hit the daily cap once.

I’m sure this is the easy answer but are you having fun? That’s really the only thing that matters.

It’s a slow go for everyone this year. They really did make it a power creep. However as stated before, there are other good cards all over. Plus there are still 2 months left. They will add double XP weekends. There is a lot of content dropping in the next 2 weeks which I’m sure will have more XP and I imagine they’ll make it easier once people start getting to the bosses. Remember, everything gets a little more loaded as the season continues. It’s April 9th. The season is two weeks old. The Marlins and White Sox have collectively won 2 games. In other words… it has to get better right?

Also, Mini Seasons has a lot of program XP attached to it, I’m sure other programs including online do to.

I'm sitting at about 260,000 and last night I saw that many people are starting to get Napoli And I felt a little dejected playing because I have completed everything for the most part up to now. But like someone else Said As long as you were having fun that is all that matters. I think the underlying worry in the community is that we won't get the bosses until late and we won't get a chance to play with them all before season two starts and we are forced to use them as wild. But honestly I'm sure that's not the plan by SDS And you will see a pick up in XP as this season goes along. Have some fun

Wife is at her parent's house sitting for the next 8 days starting tonight. My grind begins now. Going full vintage single man, Mac&Cheese, grilled hotdogs, steak, pizza pockets, ball game on one TV, gaming on the other. Sprinkle in some stretch run hockey games too.

I miss those days. My girl enjoys playing Events, BR, and Ranked games with me on this account. But my main account has already completed grinding everything needed.

Enjoy this week, and hope u get everything completed by Friday! Cuz that's when the grind gets reset again, lol.

don't get me wrong, I miss and love my wife...but to come home, flick the console on, and just get to work...then stop for 20 to shovel some food down the gullet then get back to it...those were the days. Do you think I got to last night? Nope, big ol' project estimate for work needed finishing...so I just threw the Leafs game on the regular lappy, and the Jays game on the big tv and worked. But tonight work can [censored] off lol.

It is, and will be. Like I said to Shauwn, I love my wife...but she housesits for her parents, then has her girls trips two or three times a year...chef's kiss

This post and some of the replies are the biggest problem with this “trickle” xp progression mode. People lose interest extremely fast and/or fall behind and see no light at the end of the tunnel. The model is fine for daily players. The casuals are gonna fall off the ship before the AS break this year. If you want to put the breaks on progression, fine have a month long xp path that doesn’t even have the 99s. Put them in the 3rd months path. Seeing how far away they are and falling behind will just deter casuals. The monthly inning boss program was perfect. No one complained about it. If you fell behind you could buy the cards or just grind the next month.

    @JohnWick2DDA

The silver lining is it really doesn’t matter who you unlock when Season 2 comes around. The cards are either going to be dirt cheap or not worth using as a WC.

But that opens a different set of problems because for me personally, I don’t even want to play the game at all until Season 3 because of this. This game is really only good for 1 season. After that, it’s just recycled content and trying to unlock players who have just as good, if not better versions already in the game.
