One Issue

I’ve noted for years now that the first baseman no longer covers first on a hard hit ball to Right Field, which at least has a chance of resulting in a groundout. Just wondering why this is no longer the case. It’s kind of annoying because years ago I actually threw a guy out from right. Plus, some guys run pretty slow in this game.

They used to last year but then people complained about too many outs at first base from right field so they lowered it and now it definitely seems like they took it out of the game for good

Dive with your second baseman and first baseman will cover the bag. That's the only way he'll cover.

yea, those were the days. so many outs on hits to right. unreal.

I should also clarify. I pretty much just play franchise mode. So has it been different any in other modes in recent years, like DD? It has been years since I last noticed this in the game.
