Hate to say it but now I know why there was no promotional information on this.
Mid level at best. New Season's Awards. 3 new NL players. Nothing on Jeter.
But they do have two new packs. Another Season's Awards (30k) and a Pipeline pack (40k).

The worst part is under their blog post discussing today’s drops it says “MLB The Show 24 bringing you more content than ever to live out your baseball dreams.” That’s laughable. This is the least amount of content I’ve ever seen them release this far into the cycle, and I’ve been playing DD since 17 or 18.

@Jackmo709 EA doesn’t allow you to directly exchange dollars for cards. It’s always been as bad if not worse. People simple only play one game. They’ll even say they haven’t played an EA game in 11 years and think they know how UT works lmao.
IN NO OTHER UT GAME, can you literally buy whatever card you want for whatever the price tag is. Not possible, not allowed, not even an option. Only in MLB. You can work out the price right now for whatever card you want. The only cards you can’t directly purchase, are storyline cards I haven’t, and will not see one time all year in my opponents line up.
What’s free is trash, and trash is free.

Btw, in regards to overall meta, there's just 1 card that will make my Buxton boost team from the new packs. The rest are mid.. Buyer Beware.

I'm intrigued as to what the show classic is on the 10th.
Thats not a normal shop day, its the old weekly wonders day
I'm sure the shop will be involved at some point though...Im pleasantly surprised there was anything to day besides the storylines, the content schedule made it seem like no content until next Friday
If were getting 8 Topps Now cards a week split between Tue/Fri, thats better than I feared.
Packs are still [censored], and no major program. But at least next week well have TA.

I just noticed that they re-opened the Easter Egg conquest map (to earn jelly beans) if anyone is interested.
