Solution for Account resets

Only works if you can see your stubs and inventory online. Only tested thsi for ps5 with digital copy
If you have digital copy. Just download the ps4 version. All your stuff will be there even though ps5 version is wiped. Have fun.

@Calisgw What do you suggest if you have the PS4 version already? I can see my stubs in the online app along with all my players

Does the PS4 version run like junk on PS5? Not sure I'm willing to stoop that low

looks like the console needs to see no previous data . its why ps5 keeps reverting back to last seen data. Looks like they have the linking to accounts fixed. Meaning anyone creating an account or buying the game for first time is all good. They looking into how to make the console look for the older version of data. That is the hang up on sony end. Looks like no easy fix either. Most likely days. They need to code a whole new program . meaning, they need to write a program that looks for all data on a psn account when you log in and ask you which one you want to keep going further. That takes days.

Logically, how would you fix this? Especially with multiple data on accounts. You need find a way for a user to choose which one to use. That's not inherently built into the game. Has to be created. Do you really think SDS is that competent on writing and publishing that program in any amount of speed?
