For accounts that were reset

I was able to get my all of game data back but only from the PS4 version of the game but I cannot seem to get it back into my PS5 version. Can anyone help me out please?
-
So is there no point on logging on till theres a fix?
-
I relinked correctly to my PS account and can see my stubs and players online but on my console it’s still apparently linked with whatever new/blank duplicate account it must have created when I tried logging in at like 5am. Trying to link via my PS5 only shows two blank accounts so I didn’t do that. So people like me are going wtf..
-
Same thing happened to me all my stuff was reset on diamond dynasty and I’m not sure what to unlink and link back up to fix my ps5 account help?
-
I'm not sure what the fix is but fortunately I got everything back because according to the game, I just needed to link my Switch to my Show account and boom, everything's back. Otherwise it's like a blank install as far as DD. RTTS is not affected.
-
I tried unlinking and re-linking and still no luck. The only accounts it gives me options to link say that they are level 1 with no stubs. I’m panicking please help.
-
@Bayley4Life2021 yeah it saying either I start over or at level 1 with 5000 stubs, like when I logged on @ 330 am this morning, assuming it was fine to logon. It's been over 12 hours and I can assume my progress is gone. Hope they enjoy being unemployed. Gonna cost sony millions.
-
I had my ps account linked to my mlb the show account and now its like my the show account has been deleted. I cannot log into it at all on the website.
-
@Bayley4Life2021 i played on my console account
-
If my online account and app show all my cards am I safe or will I have lost my team when I log in later?

I have all my cards on the app and when i logged on a couple of hours ago i still had all my cards and stubs in game also, so hopefully your also ok.

@DrDelirious_14 I think if you opened the game and essentially started a new diamond dynasty, your old one no longer exists. That’s why it says 1/0.
-
@tdubzz2323 I could see how this would be true IF you then linked that account to your MLBTS account, but in most if not all of our cases for those who did that we did NOT link the "new" account to our MLBTS account so there should be no reason why our original, linked account can't be restored
-
@xxfrystealerxx But if you logged in on your console it created a new account. Correct me if I’m wrong but you can only have one active account per user. So by logging in and going to diamond dynasty you overwrote any existing account. So when you try to relink it only sees this new account. Level 1 with 0 stubs.
-
@tdubzz2323 even if the "new" account wasn't ever linked to your MLBTS account it would still save? tbh I have no idea how this works, I just think it's ridiculous if they can't just reboot everything to how it was just before midnight like when you reboot a computer using a software restore or whatever (again I'm not a techy so I don't really know how things work lol)
-
Any help or updates for those whose login and password reset were not working. Not even able to access MLBTS site without PSN etc. What a clusterbalk
-
@xxfrystealerxx I’m no techy either. The problem with a reboot now is people have been playing still. They would have to somehow track all their progress and give them credit for it.
This is the worst scenario I’ve seen in mlb the show in the 7 years I’ve been playing.
-
@tdubzz2323 Yeah I would have expected them to pause gameplay/server use today or something cuz otherwise you're right there will be people pissed off if they revert and they lose progress so either way it's gonna be a shitty situation and "fix" whatever they do

No, they wouldn't. They could just roll the server back to the point where the problem occurred, and all progress since then would be lost for everyone. Then, all of the people that lost everything at 3AM EST this morning would be happy. BUT, all of the people that have played since then, many of whom were not aware of the problem at all, would be shocked to find that their progress from the past day has been wiped. Imagine that you were one of those and pulled a Trout or Ohtani. Would you be unhappy?
I think this mess will be very difficult to clean up without leaving dissatisfied customers on one side or the other. Perhaps there is a way to only restore those that were affected, but it sounds like a complicated process.

Does anyone know if there has been anyone progress like people at least reporting they are getting stuff back?
