New Topps now program

Am I crazy or is the first time we’ve had topps now cards in packs I guess it really is just buy packs and don’t bother playing. Last year was bad but they really doubled down hard this year so far

Last year was not remotely bad, the pack to free card ratio was fine, and there was plenty of content
This year is terrible. The content has been slashed by an enormous margin (no WBC size program). Topps now only has three cards (Im not counting pack cards), and it doesnt even seem to be a weekly thing anymore.

They already started decreasing the frequency towards the end of last year -
I fear this is just gonna be a problem the rest of the year. It’s the year of the Pack. They don’t want you grinding for good rewards this year. Bottomline.

I guess I am just going to have to enjoy the game for the game and not worry about completing sets. At least the vast majority of my opponents online seem to NMS people too.

Personally i dont think its pay to win because i have a competitive team, on par with pretty much everyone else and other than the digital deluxe edition, i havent spent a dime.

I play every day. haven't spent a dime on the game. i am not forced to buy anything. I just grind and get the cards I want. Pretty simple.
No Money spent on this game since MLB 17.

I play every day for a couple hours and still have a pretty good team and got 3 of the players in the pack for less than what it's going for. I am slowly working my way through everything and haven't even touched classic mini seasons yet

because you'll always have people who want something for nothing. and if they don't get their way they come whining and crying on these forums. not saying everyone - there are some legit concerns - but some of the stuff I read today is ridiculous.

Where is the SDS that pushed the narrative of " You can earn all cards through just playing the game " . SDS should be ashamed for putting the best Topps Now cards in packs you have to buy.

@sbchamps17 we are not asking for 99’s bro you are clueless we paid for the game we should get the content we paid for not have to buy stubs to get cards that used to be in programs

It's literally a spend stubs campaign. Even if you don't buy the packs and buy them in the market, it's just a stubs sink for terrible "rewards."

You don't HAVE to buy stubs, alot of people including me are still doing it NMS and not having any problems
