I'm still learning my craft on MLB 22 but not finding any opponents in Ranked Online. Is there a server issue or is it dead already?

The 19 and 20 servers were just taken offline. 21 and 22 should stilll be up.

I imagine that the people who play online are playing at least 23 at this point. Most playing the older games are going to be offline franchise type so it will be slim pickings.

Have a question about old editions being taken “offline,” community:
Does this only mean you can’t play Diamond Dynasty against another human opponent somewhere else, or does it mean you can’t even play DD at all—even against the CPU?
Asking because I’m newer to modern day video games, and how they function long-term for an annual release series.

@Blujfan1992 you can only play offline modes in those decommissioned games, Franchise, Play Now, etc.

22 and 21 still has people online still. About a week or 2 ago i found an opponent but took like 5mins to find someone

Once the servers are cut for good, you can't even access DD although all of the offline modes are still available.
Not trying to pretend like I have played 20 in a while, but it is kind of sobering to know that all the time and hours put into that game are literally wiped clean. Can't even boot it up just to check on the cards available or whatever lineup I was using at the time. It is if it never even existed.

Was hoping all the work we put in to assemble teams would be stored for us to be able to play against the computer.
Wishful thinking for an annual franchise, certainly.

Hoping, at least—as no edition has gotten there yet—that we can use our Created Stadiums saved.
