Any Reason Why Jung Hoo Lee is listed as Japanese?

He clearly represents Korea, what is the reason they list him as Japanese?

Delete this. I was looking at a created version of him.

Because he was born in Japan. Lars Nootbar was born in California and played for Team Japan in the WBC.

As @fubar2k7 mentioned above, Lee is Korean but was born in Japan. That's why the place of birth (not nationality) is listed as Japan on The Show. The MLB official website(mlb.com) used to indicate it same as well.
As far as I know, Lee asked mlb.com to fix it and so it's been fixed.
Wouldn’t The Show also reflect this in the future? -
@totopapa_82 One would assume they would do as he wishes when they add him to the game. He isn’t in the game yet. If he is just getting him out of the player vault edit him and make his country of birth Korea. Problem solved.
Vlad Jr was born in Canada and his card reflects this while he spent his entire childhood in the Dominican Republic. Which is basically the same situation as Lee with Japan and Korea.
