HOF hitting.

It’s just something that comes with time, I was awful when I first played on HoF. The event is a good way to get practice in

On HOF and Legend: close your eyes and press X, hope that your opponent leaves one hanging on a perfect release.
This. Or you can put your reticle just above center and look for a mistake. They are plentiful in this game. Just have to be patient. If you run into someone that can locate all their pitches (know idea how because I walk people all the time with good releases), just quit and start another game.

I can’t hit on HOF to save my life. Any tips and tricks you may have would be greatly appreciated.
Do you play on a tv? If so, what kind?

I’m on an asus monitor.

Do you think you’re getting any input lag?

Practice the event, HOF got really easy for me once I did that
-
Yeah. Just takes practice. Event is a great way to practice with no pressure. At some point it gets fairly easy.
-
HOF is close to perfect imo. Much harder for good placement and timing, but plays much better and much more rewarding. AS is unbearable.
On HOF I look to recognize pitches and tendencies early then work from there. I find that once you get used to the timing and speed, it plays about perfect.
-
I go to the event before ranked or br. HOF is more rewarding, pitch speeds are faster but it helps get you ready

I’m not sure. I only recently made the switch to monitor so I’m still getting used to it.

The speed is what is getting me. I’m still pretty decent on picking up off speed and squaring that up but fastballs feel so hard to catch up too.

You get used to it. The hardest pitches to get to timing wise are up and away fastballs and down and in fastballs imo, but the timing gets more natural.

I just went 24-1 to WS, you know how I succeeded on HOF difficulty? I practiced in the event until I got a hold of the difficulty

Does the event and ranked feel the same on HOF? I’ve heard mixed feelings on that one

Pretty much honestly, the competition is also super weak in the high 800s so just about anyone can make it
