Fielder runs in the opposite direction

Has anyone else had this issue where sometimes your outfield will just stop and run in the other direction?

I’ve had this happen multiple times, usually when both the left/right fielder and centerfielder are going for the ball and my user controled left/right fielder will just stop and run the other direction.

Nothing I can do can stop it. Am I the only one who has had this happening? If it’s a big it’s pretty game breaking.

Side note I’m not talking about the hesitation which has been in the game the last few years, I literally mean the fielder will be moving one direction on his way to catch the ball then stop and run the other way no matter which way you have the joystick pointed. Like there is a force field near the ball
