Lack of Pre 1950 legends
-
Once the 6 remaining NLB legends are added there will only be about 30 legends who debuted before 1950 compared to the around 110 legends who debuted between 1950 and 1999.
There’s a huge legend pool that has been untapped. I think a lot of people would love to see players like Carl Hubbell, Dizzy Dean, Al Simmons, Pete Alexander, Mel Ott, Hank Greenberg, Charlie Gehringer, Johnny Mize, etc.
Hubbell, Dean, and Ott are represented by the same agency that represents players like Foxx, Gehrig, Brock, Gwynn, and Mathewson. So a relationship already exists to use to bring some of the aforementioned legends into the game

Part of that could be due to the lack of pre 1950’s player base lol
I’m just kidding lol I just couldn’t resist. I mean people act like those guys weren’t great athletes but I couldn’t disagree more. Matter of fact I’ve never seen a modern player complete a home run trot in under three seconds but I’ve seen footage of Babe Ruth doing it hundreds of times…..
