5 questions for 24

1 What legends will we gain? I'm guessing more steroid era guys.
2 What legends will we lose? Hate to lose any but will be relieved when I see Mickey
3 Who will live series collection guy be? Wild guess, ARod
4 Who will be the most expensive gold at launch? Yamamoto, maybe?
5 Will we look forward to Set 2, or will we dread it? -
A lot of these questions have been answered during their feature premieres so far. Or blog posts. I'm really happy with how they've taken player feedback to implement changes. And 4 wild card slots will be sick.

I still don't think we will get four immediately. My first thought is we start with one and can earn a new one each season during the season program. That is just speculation on my part though.
2 total in season 1
3 total in Season 2
4 total in season 3
Then season 4 will probably allow us to use anybody. -
@Dolenz To me it is pretty obvious they will not limit this … In the blog it says „You can now unlock multiple Wild Cards slots (up to 4 total) from the Season XP Reward Path beginning in Season 2“ … Why limit it season-wise when you adress the „but you limit the players I can choose with seasons“ with it?
-
@YOSHI24 To me the key part of that statement is "beginning in season 2", which to me implies that they will spread out the unlocks over multiple seasons.
-
The reason it “begins in Season 2” is you don’t need any for season 1.
-
Another question: How many versions of the same legend will we get? Over-under set at 4.5.
-
Max should be 4 (3 sets, plus a random BR Gold/Silver somewhere during the year.

I took that differently. I assumed you unlocked all 4 wildcards during season 2 in XP reward path, then it resets again in season 3.
-
You'll unlock Wildcard Slot 2 at "X" XP Level, Slot 3 at "Y" XP Level, and Slot 4 at "Z" XP Level

@Bearsfan217_XBL To me it is pretty clear and just what @gixxerryder750 said … and it resets each season
-
Yea thats what i said
-
@Bearsfan217 Oh sorry, I was wrong… we both meant the same

Well, I guess I am in the minority by a large margin here. I am not sure how earning wildcards, only to have them taken away at the beginning of the next season when you need them most, makes any sense. I'll be happy to be proven wrong though. Time will tell and we'll know in a couple of weeks.
-
@Dolenz This actually makes much more sense than me having my head in the clouds.
-
@Dolenz … imo the big difference that everybody starts at the same playing field in S2 and every card earned there has a valid point to be used (at all). Over some xp-time you will earn your WC-spots to make your team better. If you compare to MLBTS23 … most earned cards in Set2 (at the beginning) were useless because they were worse than all the Set1-cards you earned. To me that is the most important difference (and seasons being 12 weeks)
-
@SaveFarris I've noticed that sometimes the cards have tiny animation differences. I simply could not hit with any Elly card in 23 but the milestone cycle card. The leg swing/foot stomp timing just matched my playing style I guess.
