My pick for hardest moment...

Evolution Eckersley First Career Shutout
Did all the other Stage 1 moments first try. Tried this one about 10 times and can’t do it. Eck starts running out of energy after about 65 pitches. Every player on the A’s turns into Kevin Youkilis and doesn’t swing at anything outside the zone... so you have to pump the zone with strikes and eventually Olson or someone else takes you deep. I’ve struck out 20 and still failed the moment.
Am I a crazy person for thinking this is so hard? Any pointers for this one?

I’ve never had this much trouble with any hitting moments, but I’ve only heard horrible things about the Kaline moment so we’ll see haha

The Kaline moments were nothing compared to the Eckersley shutout. God I hated that mission.

Finally beat it. Had to throw 120 pitches and strike out 16 to get it done... so hard. And Matt Olson almost spoiled it again... was standing on 3rd base when I made the final out.

See, I feel that I am better at pitching moments. Maybe it's because I only play offline so I have pitched to the CPU a lot.
I got the Eck shutout mission done on the first or second try.

The Al Kaline three hit game moment was horrific and the hardest moment I have done this year, took me at least 10 tries. The first career shutout was the 2nd hardest, probably 5 or 6 tries. What I did was try to get 1 strikeout per inning and then pitch to contact with his sinker so I still had some juice in the later innings. Did this for the 2nd shutout as well.
Obviously it's hard to be perfect, but on the lower difficulty more strikeouts will happen quicker when you are pitching to contact.
