This should not happen. I am throwing the ball in the dirt as far down as the game will allow and the guy is still able to fail it off with bad timing. There's literally no possible way to throw the ball further away. They should not be able to make contact let alone put the ball in play up the middle seen in this video with Trea Turner.

Real life players have gotten hits on balls that bounce before getting to home plate, so it's possible.

@BiigD008 OK, so that's what 1 or 2 out of 10,000 pitches? This game has way too many foul balls, and its because the hitting engine is broken. They do this because if your pitcher is doing too good they want to drive up your pitch count and force you into the bullpen.
