Really wish for 2024. They can implement more weather effects better time of day lighting and transitional lighting from dusk until night and daytime into dusk. Also more weather effects such as snow games in Colorado or Detroit where it does snow in early April. Have that actually be a factor in play? Also have games that could be rained out officially have an animation with umpires come together and call the game of rain out. Then in your franchise mode you would have to replay it as double header. This was done in MLB 2K8 and this is probably one of the coolest features though also very small....

They had wind and took it out to appease the casuals who whined about it “ruining” games they lost in. Apparently when they won it didn’t matter.

Sure, it's only the casuals who complain about something in the game when it doesn't go their way
This forum would beg to differ.

@Dolenz @fubar2k7_PSN what do you mean "casuals" ?

Only a casual would complain about wind being in an outdoor sport. Then again only whiners blame other things for their losses. Look around this forum to find every other excuse for losses that exist in the universe.

Touché
Lots of excuses for losing 10% of the time in a sport where winning 60% of the time is legendary.

@jake93436 They need to implement the FC system where you can choose the exact time & weather.
I'd love to be able to play 8pm games that start after sunset with no clouds, online

@fubar2k7 When the CPU makes an error on purpose just so you don't lose do you acknowledge that to yourself or do you think you won the game legit?
When the CPU attempts to steal a base with 2 outs, so you can throw him out and win the game do you recognize that or does it just go right over your head?
When the CPU fouls off 11 pitches and you're sitting there cussing and then he watches a fastball go right by him to strike him out do you realize what was going on? Do you realize the programming was just playing with you or do you think you finally fooled that pesky CPU hitter?
Playing the CPU is pure theatre. Gotta know the script.

@SkunkyTrees1977 These could be isolated to playing on rookie which I assume you play on.
I don’t pay attention to errors but I’ll try.
I literally never had a game end with my throwing out a runner stealing.
I’ve not had one at bat go 11 fouls deep. Once the batter hits 3 foul balls I throw a pitch out and that usually stops the foul balls for me. I walk so few batters that 1 ball won’t hurt my pitcher.
I know how to play the game unlike you.
-
@fubar2k7 LOL. You're the biggest liar around here. Everyone has had a batter foul off 11 pitches that we can't do nothing about. Online or offline. It's part of the programming script. I don't even like playing offline because of the variance in pitch speeds and you think I'm playing on Rookie? Never that dude.
"I know how to play and you don't".....
Evidently you don't have the courage to play online. Take your pill.
-
@SkunkyTrees1977 I'll play both you online....

Alright. Let me explain how the sun works in summer. Summer is warmer than winter because there is light out longer, not because we are closer to the sun. This is due the the axis that the earth rotates on. (Fun fact: In the northern hemisphere we are actually further away from the sun on the summer solstice than the winter solstice.) Because there is more light, days are longer and nights are shorter. For instance, where I grew up in Southern California sunset was often after 8 PM during the summer. Now that I live in Washington, sunset might not be until after 10 PM. Any way around it, late April through early September have equal or more daylight no matter where you are in the United States.
So when you choose June, July, or August to start so the ball flies further, you will, most likely, not see the sun go down until after 8 PM. Since night games typically don't start past 7:30 PM, you very seldomly see games that actually start after sunset.

It's not just weather.
No collisions. No Wind. No injuries. Online now.
What exactly are we playing online? This is not a true MLB simulation or experience how baseball is meant to be played!

@MLBNETWORK365 its actually the perfect baseball exp who wants to sit and watch a game in rainy sleet weather? Why is weather even a issue lol you want to see pools of mud on the field? You want to see a cut scene of them rolling tarps out and go ooooo ahhhhh.

Personally, I'd love to see them rolling out the tarps while I whisper under my breath, "motherf...." However, I only want it if it's real time. Make me wait 3 hours before calling it. That's be the best.

Tarp on. Wait 10 minutes. Tarp off. Play a half inning. Tarp on. Wait 20 minutes. Tarp off. Play a full inning. Tarp on. Wait 40 minute. Tarp off. Play 2 batters. Tarp on. Wait 3 hours. Tarp off. Play out rest of game.

@broken_toy1 I want the game to have snow, and make it so the snow covers the batters eye as well.
-
Tarp rolling sounds like a fun mini game
especially if you could combine it with log rolling

The quicker you roll it out the shorter the delay.

@broken_toy1 I'd love this in an RS game. Rainout in the 4th inning and then you have to play the same guy 3 months later in a Saturday doubleheader.
