Anybody else waiting until the streams to preorder?

I am…I used to play The Show year round. This year I quit from Season 3 until now because I refused to accept their new rotating cards out of online use. I’ll wait until the streams and if Ramone says “ALL cards will remain usable online ALL year” then I’ll buy it. If not then I’ll pass. Just curious if others were going to hold off preordering for whatever reasons.
absolutely mate - i have been playing this game since inception - and next year will be based on exactly what you said - i have no interest in non stop grinding for cards - the way its designed currently is nonsense

@Oreo-Thomas You're alive! Happy New Year!

May I ask what the difference in grinding exactly is. To me 21&22 were more of a grind, because there was constantly new and better cards … until say October.
In 23, I used Set 1 in Season 1+2 and only bought Set 2 cards, when S3 came around. This way, I did not have to grind that much … and imo less than in 21/22 …
I am totally with you, that 23 was less fun … but I like the power creep -
@YOSHI24 For me personally I just didn’t like how I P5’d a 99 ovr player then I was instantly told - You can’t use this card you grinded anymore, Instead you can grind this 97 ovr lesser version of the SAME PLAYER. Just ridiculous.

True.
I was going through my inventory, and came upon Charisma Griffey Jr., and said 'That was a pretty good card that I got to P4, and like that, he was gone.' Same with that cracked Charisma Jeff McNeil.
Sets was a misstep. -

Sets was a misstep.I think sets can work if it’s a progression each season has a different high ovr

ok, got that … the 97s after that suck, but that was bc of lacking players to choose from. Would it have been better, if no other 99 of that player came afterwards?

@IrishFist412
About that. There are so many negro leaguers. Season 1 was to introduce them, learn something about them, play the mode, collect all of them and pair them with Captain 95 buck oneil. I was excited to get 99's the first weekend with my sanford team. The problem with these cards is they quickly became dated with all the 99's around them being bigger and better. You were forced to use Captain 95 buck oneil with the tier 3 boost just to make them viable cards. I liked the fact that you got True 99's of each player around Set 3. Season 2 will give us THE GOATS OF THE NEGRO LEAGUES, OSCAR CHARLESTON AND JOSH GIBSON.

Ill be the first to admit I was wrong about season 6. I figured with all card available, I would see Donaldson, Randy and Gibson over and over again.
Surprisingly, ive seen more diversity than ever in what pitchers people use.

Same for me … I see more variety on the mound than I see in the lineups …
