Here's a bunch of ideas for next seasons or even future show baseball games
Really wish they would implement more creative stadium fencing outfield walls, fencing in general old fashioned dirt styles like the mound with dirt in Detroit key style. It's called the only amount that has the old fashioned dirt from home plate to the mound
I will love to see a lot more injuries. Nothing too gruesome but guys say sprinting the first base if they can implement a Sprint button or Sprint to the bases are just running guys. Could maybe roll ankle pull a hamstring come up slowly just like in real life if they overrun the base even first base or laying out a double. See you guys come up gingerly if you use the sprint too much or excessively possibly
Also the fact that every picture who gets hit in the game pretty much stays in. Just I think they need a really fix that guys will come out not just off bad and balls but maybe show in real game like in franchise mode or wrote to the show picture might come out with arm issues. Maybe excess pitching if you pitch them past their meter or just on a short rest
The commentary needs a massive update, playing and simple. It would be nice if they could have commentary from rookies or prospects with every club. You know the guy is that they have the future stars programs. Why not make them guess commentators but then talk about their adventure to the show. Let them just commentate or even have other players such as players of the month. Come and take in the game the guest commentators like Hall of famers. Maybe Randy Johnson or Pedro Martinez have them commentate if possible
I also would like a lot more weather effects such as games that start raining but the rain goes away and clears up or also games that start overcast and become a downfall of rain. Maybe even see games. I can real life in Detroit or Denver in March April with snow possible or snow out...
With that being said, I also think it would be nice for franchise mode. If they could put in actual games that get rained out after the 5th inning then that would be a game that would be official. But also if they could implement it where it's before the 5th ending then you would have an in-game franchise double header. I think also it would be nice if you can see more field degradation during games. Maybe spots that are really worn out. The mound of the batteries area needs to be a lot more worn down I think in my eyes

Commentary use to have more when they had Matty V. They had over 10 years of recordings to use. It’ll take time to build up to what they had. These guys can only record so much. We are lucky they added during the year although at times it made zero sense at all because in the past they didn’t add new commentary during a game cycle. Don’t count on guest commentators because they’d have to pay them and paying them means paying less former players.

I personally think they need to let us pitch position players. If I’m losing 9-0 and I just want to have some weird fun, then let me pitch my third baseman.

Having team broadcast networks and team announcers would be the best, I want to play with GKR talking.

@lgm_landon_MLBTS They would have to pay those people to provide their voice. I’m pretty sure Matty V got expensive which is why they replaced him at the cost of starting over with their available commentary. I can’t see them adding multiple other announcing teams.

@lgm_landon it was in '21 and 20, you could even put pitchers at positions spots, like barto colon at SS and aroldis chapman in RF, chapman had a cannon arm but no accuracy

Remove DD so that would limit the casuals and newbs drastically but it won't happen cause this is what brings the money in. And improve Franchise and continue to make the game more of simulation. This year I feel you guys took a decent leap forward. I would recommend bigger Slider margin, instead of 1 to 10, have settings like 1 to 20 so we can really fine tune and tweak the gameplay. I know DD people are scratching their heads when I said Sliders, but it's a function in the game guys.

They are never going to remove DD from the game, everyone plays it and enjoys it, all the content creators that make a living on it play it and that only, no one likes franchise because it's the same thing year after year and same thing with RTTS it's just old and needs updating, so get your facts straight before you say to remove DD when actual people make money from playing this game

@sbchamps17_NSW That guy is whack but he did say they won’t do it. He is also correct that the game was better quality wise. Feel free to look back at the Metacritic scores for each game. Quality scores for the game are peak before DD when they focused on making a simulation game vs an arcade game. I say this as someone who plays both modes and has played since the games inception in 2006.

Since injuries only happen in offline modes, just change your sliders.
The commentaries would be a fun idea, but way too expensive and huge amounts of man hours. Having Boog and Chris say the same word with 15 different inflections is time consuming enough. There are already legends talking about the game in RTTS.

@sbchamps17 I clearly said they won't remove DD. Is reading comprehension not one of your qualities? Maybe you're a republican or went to Trump University? If so then I'd excuse you for not understanding my post. My sense of fun is playing games as a simulation, franchise on legend with matured sliders at max pitch speeds gives me a chubby because its intense and keeps me on my toes where every pitch and every play is tense. DD for me would be a bore because by default its set to an acade slider settings and slow doody pitch speeds, I would fall asleep from the nooby casual gameplay. If I wanted to play acrade baseball I'd get RBI Baseball or Super Mega Baseball. So those are my "facts", now to grab a redbull and hot pocket and read a book.

My wish is that if they're planning on keeping Captain cards they fix the glitches and of they can't actually stick to what they stated about suspending people who abuse them.
