Al Kaline, 11 hits, 4 extra base hits, 2 HR in 7 games mission
-
This mission is really rookie, huh? Tried it over 20 times, still always come up short by 1 or 2 in the hits or HR category.
Guys throwing all-star level sliders and breaking stuff and dotting corners. Gets real, real old, fellas.
Troll away, tell me how much I suck.
-
Yeah I gated it for the last home run
-
It might say rookie but the sliders say otherwise.
-
Had everything done after 4 games except 3 hits. Line outs. Diving catches. Pop ups didn't get it finished. short by 1 hit. That was my first attempt. Not close since.

Yep. I can tell by the nasty breaking stuff they keep dotting corners with, and bronze relievers throwing Nolan Ryan curveballs. The trouble with the game is, in part, you cannot see the break of the seams on a TV screen the same way you do when you play in real life.
-
Really? I got this done in 3 games the only real concern was the home runs with power in the 60s
-
The normal hits werent bad it was just the XBH and the 2 HR's were really bad. His bat is so slow with no power, you really need to square it up for it to go.

You got 11 hits in three games with such low plate vision and power? Consider yourself beyond lucky.
-
It took me 2 attempts but I finished it in game 5. Second attempt I just sat on curveballs and hit 5 HR, with 10 XBH. Its doable, you just have to stick to your plan. Both Mikolas and Wainright throw quite a few hanging curveballs.

Struggled for a handful of games like you are saying and then I used power swing until I had 2 strikes and then used X. Got the homers knocked out early and then got it done. Hope this helps!

Just wait for the 'beat the Tigers on All-Star' part.
I don't know what was going on, but i had to win
in the bottom of the 9th on a Juan Soto 2-run hr.
I'm good at the game, but was SHUT OUT by the
TIGERS until then!!!! I broke my monitor because
of the frustration. I used my 5th starter so they
would use theirs, but i couldn't score anything!!!
I hurled my 'The Show' Cap at the monitor. Now i have
lines going through like this

Dumb move, but i was in disbelief, and a little drunk, honestly.
If i lost 1-0 i would have retired from The Show right there! -

Umm, okay, that must be why I haven't been able to beat it since 4 a.m. today in 30 different 7-game attempts.
I have gone from level 98 bronze to Level 6 silver since 4 a.m. trying to beat this. That's insanity. And I've been playing this game for years. I have had SO many balls timed right or squared up for outs, it's ridiculous.

The only hard part of this was the second HR

I have hit the second HR several times, but each time I do, I am always 1 or 2 hits short. Or vice versa. I hate when people come on here and say how easy a challenge is. We get it. You are better than 99 percent of people struggling at the same mission. So either contribute helpful ideas, rather than bragging, otherwise you are bringing nothing to the conversation.
I am sure the reason it's so easy is why I have gone from Level 98 bronze to Level 6 silver just trying to beat this challenge, alone.

Guess I should’ve put “for me” since everyone on this forum is a snowflake and takes a statement as bragging
-
Remember on moments you can dashboard. If you are going into game 7 and need couple of hits or a sing HR and don't get them, go back to the dashboard, close application, and reopen. You will not lose progress and pick back up at the same game. It has to be done before your final out is recorded so be quick about it. Also only swing with Square even if you have the 2 HR's, continue swinging with Square for the XBH.
-
Yeah this moment is a joke, all I can do is get good contact to the warning track. I really enjoy getting timing the ball great and hitting line outs constantly on rookie. It’s almost laughable
-
This game is something else.
I breezed through this mission. For the HRs, I sat on fastballs up in the zone.
No tricks, not using directional, only normal swings. I finished the whole thing in 5 games.
What I do easily, others struggle with and vice versa.I blow through this no problem, but I cannot beat the 2nd inning showdown if my life depended on it.
I bet some of you struggling with this, blew through the 2nd inning showdown.
It's funny how life is. -
If you don't have the 2nd HR done by gm 5 just dashboard out before the final out. That way you don't have to hit the final HR at Comerica Park
