Theres still more to this contract, if the Dodgers trade or fire personal then Ohtani can opt out of his contract. Lol Dodgers.

How so? Only players it mentions are Betts and Freeman and they won’t go anywhere. Mentions manager and he proved no matter now bad his decisions are he isn’t going anywhere. And lastly owners and front office. Those people aren't going anywhere either. Most logically means if they don’t use the difference between $70 million and $46 million to get stars then he’s gone.

Yes i realize that now, it was updated after i posted that. He's also not walking away from 685 million. I'm sure Freeman and Betts are happy though.

As a side note - in the interview with reporters when Ohtani became an official Dodger, he said he didn't have Tommy John surgery this time, it was something else and he didn't know the name of it. He said the press would have to ask his doctor. A reporter later stated the surgery didn't have a name yet because it was a new procedure. Interesting.
