Got My First Chase Card -- 30/30 Trout -- Keep or Sell?

Played all season, completed almost all programs and TAs, have opened dozens of Chase packs and just today pulled my first Chase card -- 30/30 Trout S4. Very happy, but I'm debating keeping him or selling him and picking up 3-4 other god squad type cards like Cycle Elly and Kaiju Mauer and Finest R.Johnson. Would I be a fool to sell 30/30 Trout? Is he just THAT good (his swing is amazing on his other cards)? Note that I do have most of the usual suspect program cards like 99 Lightning Belli, 40/70 Acuna, etc.

I think the MS Elly is the best card in the game. But, if you need the stubs and don't want to use him, then sell. If you plan on using him and want him for any collections, keep him. That is the best CF card in the game for sure.

Depends on how much you value switch hitters. I think trouts swing is amazing and I hit great with him righty righty

I personally like the finest Trout card and the finest Elly card, but I have to admit that I also don't have those 2 from the chase packs

I like the Finest Elly and Trout cards, too. But I don't have a Mantle or any other rarity like that except for DeGrom (who I purchased when his price came down).

I once thought that too. I liked the (Chase) card's speed in defense, but wasn't sure about his hitting. However, after using his last two cards, I can see why his card(s) get the hype.He has a quick, compact swing to go along with power. This leads to a lot of doubles and triples, along with his share of HRs. Being a switch-hitter, someone has to come across the plate to jam him, which he is still fight off. I usually do not go for tall hitters either, but ironically, four of my best hitters this year are Stanton, Judge, Bellinger, and Elly...

True... some hit with Mantle, but not me...yet. Weird.
And yes, quirks should not be underestimated. -

Keep him he’s the best card in the game. Attributes couldn’t be any better and his swing is smooth there’s nothing on the market better than that

This year's all Switch Hitter team is amazing. Last year I tried to do it and there were holes. So many good cards to fill this roster.
