Guess we aren’t getting an update this morning?
It's still early for them. Only 7:00 am where SDS is located.
Well, grab a coffee, and let's go. Chop, chop!
Snap throw! -
@arvcpa
That would be a bit too obvious. They have to be somewhat subtle with the trolling.

Finest Program Cards - Happy everyone is getting their Willie Mays. I am also happy Lou Brock finally got a 99. Even as a cardinals fan though I don't care much about Joe Torre.
-
Here are all the cards today I think - Four extra Retro Finest that may be earnable simply by doing moments.
-
Hopefully they do Willie Mays justice. His swing isnt the greatest but his Finest stats should be nearly 125 across.

That is his MVP year where he hit .317 with 52 HRs and 112 RBIs. He also walked more than he struck out (76 to 71) so if not maxed attributes most of them should at least be close.
For Lou Brock, '67 was the year he had his highest HR total but a lower SB number so possibly they up his power and subtract a few points from BR Aggression. But when you say lower SB number for Brock you are still talking 52 SB.

I always like Joe Torre cards. Not sure why, but one of my favorites.
-
@arvcpa
Joe Torres card last year was so underrated. Honeslty one of the best catcher cards in the entire game for me. Hopefully its a similar card.
-
85 speed Willie , Ok
-
The lack of a new conquest or an event right now that you can use these cards is for progression is quite annoying and bad planning in my opinion.
-
@virusts I wanted to load up my Event team with Retros for the Weekly Wonders, but... NO.

While we know that they can jack up any attributes they want, there is at least a little realism in that number. He only stole 9 bases that year and was caught 4 times.
-
@virusts yea sucks. I was going to use these cards in the event but there not eligible. Guess ill play ranked with Finest cardss.
-
Nevermind - My Mistake
-
@Dolenz fair. Maybe they could of picked a better year for him

No Conquest map? Wow. I'm not home right now.
A new program w/o a map is quite stunning. -

Could they? That was one of only 2 MVP years for him. He led the league in HRs, OBP, SLG, OPS, OPS+ and total bases. It was the year that he had his highest HR total. His other MVP year he came a few points shy of batting .300
But again, SDS could have just jacked up his speed if they wanted. They gave Harold Baines 100+ power from both sides in a year where he only hit 24 HRs and only 3 of those against lefties but they gave him 103 pwr vs L.
I don't play online but 85 speed with 99 fielding and 95 reaction (with 94 arm Str and 97 arm acc) seems like a solid card to me.

I would have loved to still be that fast in my mid 30s
-
You right. 85 spd perfect this time of year to run down them gappers in center and perfect representation of the best OF of all time. No biggie. Most wont use him anyways with his swing

It's a long swing with a slightly closed stance, if I recall.
That Milestone card from '20 or '21 was the bomb, though. The Aaron that year was great as well.
